So, Smoky Oak is a mixed bag depending on what you order. I had a fried chicken biscuit with gravy and grits that were great. My partner in crime had the pastrami scramble and said it was so salty that it was almost inedible- it needed another poached egg and “a lot” more hollandaise sauce to make it edible. While I was happy with my brunch, my bestie wasn’t happy at all. If you go, stay away from the salty stuff and enjoy some standards.

Fantastic food here ! Had the jalapeno bacon bites appetizer with cajun dirty rice [a little heat, but SO yummy!] & a turkey rueben - DELICIOUS! Homemade sauce had a little sweetness, a sweet kick at the end: think it was a sweet pickle relish in with the 1,000 island? & a touch of smoky paprika - SO good! Their beef brisket philly was also amazing: light deli roll, meat was juicy, tender, succulently flavorful; onions & green pepper "done" to perfection: not too soggy, nor over done, but still a little crisp &fresh crunch in the bite! Fantastic**

Visiting with friends they took me out for breakfast/brunch and had the breakfast food. Eggs, bacon, American fries, pancakes, sour dough bread toast. Was very good, service was good, friendly and informative as what to drink with what was ordered, mimosa or bloody Mary. Will be back for another visit for sure .

A refreshingly simple, and delicious breakfast/brunch business. The pastrami hash skillet was very good with actual pastrami instead of mystery hash. And a pepper vodka Bloody Mary to go along with a great breakfast.

Very quaint place. It is tucked away off the main road, but worth the detour. Staff was very welcoming and attentive. Omelet was extremely good. Has a bar, table service, and outside seating as well.

It is a great place to come for brunch and perfect mimosas! I always feel very welcome when I come, which is normally a few times a week. Make sure you try the biscuit who flew the coop.
