Beautiful restaurant and great setting. We had a birthday dinner with 15 people, we sat in their private room. The staff was attentive, accommodating and very friendly. The food was good and well cooked with lots of flavor. The outdoor setting is lovely, especially for drinks before or after dinner. The views are so relaxing and beautiful. I recommend this restaurant.

Great location for on the water dinning. Visited on a Saturday for outdoor brunch. Table for two are closer to the water. Depending on the day/time,you will get a lot of sun. Table for 3+ are more in the shade. The indoor Dinning room is nice,classy and clean. The reason for 4 stars is the parking and menu. Public parking is always crowed and no where to park. Valet parking staff was nice but super busy,only one person working at the time. Took a while to have them ticket it us to park. Not many food options for the non sea food eater. Prices are average for atmosphere and location. Pitcher of mimosas(3 1/2 glasses) 2 entrees about $70+ before tip.

First time at the Lakehouse and not the last. Had a great time. Excellent drinks, the most delicious New England Chowder, warm bread, excellent service and phenomenal menu. DELICIOUS!!!

I was trying to find a nice seaside restaurant on Long Island and found Lakehouse on Google. The restaurant could use a little refurbishing but the food was excellent! The pork chops was cooked to perfection and it was such a complex dish that was executed to perfection! Highly recommended!

This place was extremely good. Service was fast and food was delicious. Desert came at same time as the ☕️. Everyone was super nice. the view is very calming and beautiful.

The Lakehouse was really very nice. We went for the brunch menu and the atmosphere was great. Well except for a raucous group of women the next table over celebrating a birthday. Otherwise, friendly staff, good good and a reason to go back. The waiter could have been a little more attentive but not a deal breaker.

The hostess was friendly and helpful, selecting a nice corner table for my first date. The wait staff were very patient and checked to ensure we did not need anything. Our water glasses were kept full. The restaurant is nicely decorated and spacious. I assume they are very busy in the season when the ferry boats are operating. Everything was clean, as were the bathrooms. My partner had the Berkshire Porkchops and I the Salmon. Both dishes were delicious, and their presentation was also very professional. Well worth a repeat visit in the near future. We were both too full for desert.

A great waterfront restaurant with delicious food and scrumptious desserts! We enjoyed the fried calamari appetizer followed by the almond crusted striped Bass which was cooked perfectly. But the real treat off the night was the S’more Sundae! Our server was also delightful and attentive, we look forward to our next dinner at the Lakehouse!
