The BEST deal in town! How is this salad overflowing with two whole chicken breasts and only costs $11? Crazy! And the chicken is super tender, perfectly seasoned, and local! Always fresh veggies and the roll is a perfect little treat. Go for the Greek salad with chicken or the Fancy salad with beef. Plus everyone who works there is so friendly. Highly recommend!
Everything is so good and so fresh! Everyone that works there is very friendly and knowledgeable. Just a note...look up menu online and then call in your order. They get very busy at lunch time and you don't want to miss out.
This venue is such a fabulous Austin treasure - phenomenal foods, amazing service, family-owned, local and amazingly affordable. We love Lee's and HIGHLY recommend everything on the menu - best beef tenderloin on the planet that melts in your mouth, and their roasted veggie platter is seriously a work of art. Wishing I could give them ten stars!

I have eaten here several times and it's great! The chicken salad is delicious and very large, with tons of juicy chicken. I always make two meals out of it. The BLT is amazing! So many pieces of thick, crispy bacon! If you love bacon you do not want to miss out on this BLT! Friendly staff. I always enjoy seeing Courtney's smiling face. 😊
Wonderful sandwich today, first time there and won’t be my last! I accidentally just put 3 stars at first, meant 5!!! The young man at the counter was also so friendly and courteous!!
Just the hands down best food in Austin. We get lunch takeout several times a week and take their ready made bulk meals to get us through the weekend. The food is so clean and savory you will struggle to go anywhere else. We get the salads which are incredible and the burger is hands down the best in Austin.
Lee’s meat market has been a staple in the central Austin community for so many years! Lee and her small team are workaholics and it shows in everything they do! José is amazing and cooks every piece of meat to perfection! The fancy salad with chicken is so so so delicious! Huge portions for the price!

The best steaks in town. Her prime cuts are really something special, Central Market and Whole Foods don't compare.
Like other reviewers mentioned, the sandwiches and lunch items are delicious and reasonably priced with generous portions. The beef tenderloin sandwich is every bit as good as they say. The sides are also a treat, nothing Lee offers is average.
I keep waiting for the day when Lee's is discovered by the trendy crowd and gets mobbed. Until then, be thankful for silly reviewers and snippy two star ratings (They didnt have ANY veal bones!). It's a place that old Austin keeps under it's hat.
Let me do you a favor: if you’re ordering a cut of beef, just say ‘Yes’ to the optional house recipe seasoning package. The ribeyes were among the best I’ve ever purchased (perfectly marbled). But that says nothing of the overall flavor when paired with the seasoning....ridiculous. Lee’s is a for sure must-do. Hidden spot with classy digs and GOOD food. BTW the sandwiches are incredible. -First Time, long time
