The food is awesome and it is fast. It is really good quality and the amliy loves it. Love the fact that they are locally owned, really make it nice there. IT pretty Lit doh.
This place was amazing. I had the wonton noodle soup and my husband had general tso's chicken with fried rice. My husband hates Chinese food but he loved this!!! Prices are great food was even better!
Can't wait to try more. Got some takeout from here last night. The food was very fairly priced and the portions were large. Their crab rangoon are huge and stuffed full. The hot and sour soup was on point and delicious, and very cheap! Their house special fried rice is some of the best chinese fried rice I have ever had. We also got the hunan combination dinner which was also good, the shrimp were huge! The only thing that I could get better elsewhere is their General Tso's chicken. It wasn't bad but it is more like sweet and sour than the general's, I like mine with a bit more spice and vibrance, also some bell pepper and onion added would be nice. Overall an excellent meal at a great price. I will be back!
I love this Chinese restaurant! They are always super busy!
Generous Portions and very Delicious!! Ill be coming here again!
The food is good. The noodle beef soup is a big portion and the flavor is just ok the noodle was thick and cook right. Service is great and friendly also the place is super clean

Outstanding food, great prices, great service! Lots of choices on the menu. A wonderful find! Clean restaurant - great all around.
Best Mongolian Beef!. We love this place! Great Chinese Food all around!
Very good food at a great low price. The General Tso Chicken wasn't as spicy as I would have liked but it was good nonetheless. Everything here is fresh. The egg drop soup is amazing
Oh yes!. A good place for fast and cheap Chinese food. They have an open kitchen where everything is prepared fresh for the day. The prices are unreal for all you can eat. They also have dinner meals you can order off the menu if the buffet is not what your after for the day. They have great shrimp fried rice. I really think they have the best around the Mississippi area. Egg rolls are always great. Not to greasy and they have a perfect crunch when you bite into them. They have wonderful sweet and sour pork served in a sauce that will make you stuff yourself! I also like their broccoli, crab, onion dish that is cooked in a soy sauce that is yummy. It is always clean in the eating area and ther service is great. I really enjoy eating here. It does get really busy during the lunch time so you might have to wait or fight the crowd at the buffet, but it is well worth it.
I have been coming here for 10 yrs. Food is always fresh, portion are good. Good price for lunch special. Dinner is also affordable. I don’t think that they are rude just busy owners trying to make an honest living.
Take out always 15 minutes!!
Food is always on point, excellent. I've not had a bad experience yet, 3 yrs running. Haven't found a better place in ABQ.
Ordered the wonton soup and spring rolls. Cute little spot, fast service, food tasted fresh and hot. Would recommend to friends and family.
We order from them for work all the time and it's great! They do a good job getting our order right and we like their prices.
This is hands-down the best Chinese food in town. At the moment they only have take-out, which is fine. Every time we get food from here we are amazed at the portion sizes. Yummy, yummy, yummy!!! Some reviewers say the staff is rude but I don't find that at all. They are polite and quiet. Hey - not everyone is a loud introvert. The front people always have a friendly smile as long as you don't bark orders at them. I absolutely love this place.
Been looking for great asian food since moving to Albuquerque many years ago. We happened in this place by accident…. And I am elated that accidents happen!
Ordering with ease, orders ready rapidly, priced fairly, and the meals are fantastic!!
My go to for this picky dude (see photo)!
I love this place. I order from here every 2-3 weeks. And nothing goes to waste. No complaints from this happy and full customer.
Simply the best Chinese food we have had anywhere, in Albuquerque, or any other state we have traveled to. Everything is fresh and top-notch quality with very reasonable prices.
I have had a few dishes from Golden Chopsticks, and I have to give a tough verdict of 4 stars.
The first time, I ordered sesame chicken and brown rice. The chicken was flavorful and had strong aromas of ginger! However, it has lost its crisp within mere minutes of sitting in the takeout container with all the sweet, gingery sauce on there. I was a bit disappointed by that. The rice was cooked with the right amount of water, but was nothing impressive.
The second time, I had chicken lo mein and brown rice. The lo mein was fantastic! It was cooked perfectly, and had a nice, well-spiced garlicy flavor. My one complaint about the lo mein is that it was a tad too greasy. You could see a small pool of grease at the bottom of the takeout container!
The third time I had the chicken and broccoli with pork fried rice. The chicken was tender and juicy, but my goodness, talk about BLAND! That dish was just plain SAD! The pork fried rice was nothing to hit home about either. It was just rice with a few bits of pork here and there in addition to a small handful of large chunks of undercooked vegetables.
Overall, I'd say Golden Chopstick's food sits on the fence between 3 and 4 stars. However, it gets 4 stars because A) prices are reasonable and B) you will get a lot of food! It's enough food to have leftovers for the next day!
With all that said, I got 3 pieces of advice for the person who reads this review
1. Get the lo mein
2. Get the lo mein
3. GET THE LO MEIN
The food is very fresh, the atmosphere is clean and open kitchen style so you can see what’s happening in the kitchen. We ordered Cashew Chicken, Mongolian Beef, hot and sour soup, boneless ribs and white/brown rice. The meats are all soft, flavor is perfectly balanced, the Mongolian beef is labeled spicy but was well balanced and my 2 year old could eat it. The hot and sour soup wasn’t sour enough for me but I was the only person who felt this way. Lastly, the customer service was excellent. I made a rice error and they were able to solve my mistake with no fuss. Phone skills were articulate, professional, and kind. We have found our go to Chinese food place in Albuquerque.
