I rate restaurant experience based on how butter is served. Butter should never be served cold. Pappedeaux does it right by serving a loaf of warm bread and room temp butter. Food came out fast even on a busy night. Food was delicious and the only reason I gave it 4 stars was because the sauce from the trout and shrimp dish was too salty. Shrimp was also very salty and I only was able to eat 1/2 the dish that wasn’t drenched in the sauce.

The food was very fresh, the fried oysters were a little over cooked that is reflected in the 4 star rating on food. Service was great and very attentive to our groups food allergies, while the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Definitely a restaurant I'll revisit.

First and foremost Kara and Nathalie were so sweet. Great bartenders with excellent service and personable. I’d come back just for them. The food was so so so good. My first time here and oh my I enjoyed everything from the bread, the drinks to the food. When first walking in, I bypassed the hostage since I wanted to sit at the bar. The place was clean especially the bathroom… which is very important to me. I had the crab and spinach dip, which was delicious… better than I expected. Then I had the Madi Gras for my entree and I think I could have ordered anything and it would have been good most definitely coming back and I most definitely recommend.

Delicious food, nice attentive waitstaff, dim, romantic atmosphere! Only ding might be the time it took between appetizer and meal...by then we were full, so that part was our fault. Surprised at the amount of young children there, but most were very well behaved. We'll be back!

This is the third location I have tried for this chain over the years, and it has never disappointed. Everything was amazing, Oysters are always top notch and the quality of my Salmon Alexander was just fantastic. I live in the PNW and this salmon was as good as any I have ever had. Highly recommend checking this chain out if you like Seafood, especially Cajun style!

Stopped by for the catfish po-boy and gumbo. The gumbo was good but not great. Needed more flavor. I also had oysters which were really good. I'm OCD when it comes to silverware and theirs were clean. In conclusion, I give 4 stars only because the gumbo needed more flavor and a little more heat😊 Oh, I forgot, the Is crème brûlée was delicious!!

The pappadeaux platter had a hefty portion but for the price point, it lacked flavor. The steak was pretty good but still a little pricy for the meat quality. The calamari is expensive- but is cooked well. It is a great appetizer to try if you can splurge. It is busy on Friday nights but this does not deter the quality service. The servers have been attentive, and when needed any additional items, brought them without the sneer. For the amount of customers they serve, the place does not skip a beat. Just fyi- It can get loud in the main dining. Loud enough to wake sleeping babies.

I’ve been to Pappadeaux many times but I have to say last weekend I had thee best meal I’ve ever had there. I had the Grouper with braised roasted carrots that was out of this world delicious. It was cooked perfect, a little cajonie, and had the sweetest lump crab on top with 4 big shrimp. Our table also had the Red Snapper that was equally as good. Also the gumbo and fried calamari appetizers. The service was great and we had a delightful time. We went at 3pm hoping to avoid crowds or a wait. We didn’t have to wait but it was pretty crowded. Parking lot is big with lots of handicap spots.

Exceptional Experience at Pappadeaux in Albuquerque! My family and I recently visited Pappadeaux located at 5011 Pan American Fwy NE, Albuquerque, NM, and our experience was nothing short of phenomenal. Despite calling in at 6:30pm for a 7pm reservation for a party of six, we were swiftly accommodated, which was impressive and much appreciated. The real highlight of our visit was our server, James B. His service was a standout, making our dinner truly memorable. As someone who owns a Mortgage Brokerage and places immense value on client service and the overall client experience, I understand the dedication required to deliver such quality service. James exceeded our expectations with his attention to detail, efficiency, and excellent communication skills. My wife, a seasoned professional in the Restaurant & Hospitality Industry, was particularly impressed. She knows what it takes to train and educate staff in this field, and she didn't hesitate to compliment James on his exceptional service delivery. The food was as spectacular as the service, making our holiday friends dinner even more special. Each dish was a culinary delight, perfectly complementing the excellent service provided by the staff. We wholeheartedly recommend Pappadeaux to anyone looking for a dining experience that combines great food with outstanding service. We're already looking forward to our next visit! The food here is quite good. I got lobster and my wife got steak. We came here with some friends and had a great time. Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was great. They have good portion sizes too. My only issue is I personally think it's a bit over priced. Everything tasted great, but I feel like I can get the same quality food at other restaurants for a bit cheaper. Still a great place to eat and hang out with family and friends. I do recommend eating here especially if you like sea food.
