Bbq King Smokehouse Woodstock

Stumbled across this joint while visiting Woodstock for some business, and I my expectations were more than surpassed. I myself had their signature burger, and I suggested that some family members stop by as well a few days later. They had ribs and burnt ends, and I was able to try the leftovers. I was stunned. Overall a super nice atmosphere and the waitstaff were amazing. Thank you for the wonderful experience, and my family and I will surely return. To the girl who was my server on the 4th @ around 6pm, you were amazing. I wish I remembered your name so I could give a more personalized review, but you were great!

I was in Woodstock for a painting estimate and decided to stop by. My family and I have been at the Huntley location, which is much larger and more inviting from the outside. For lunch I ordered their sandwich and chili special for $10. Sandwich was a brisket sandwich. Brisket was super flavorful and tender. Bun was nicely toasted. I also had the chili with sour cream n onions. Very good as well. Service was on point and attentive. This place is a must try. I recommend going for lunch as I imagine the place filling up quickly for dinner as it is quite small. Enjoy!

I wanted some ribs that day and we googled around town and this restaurant came out with good reviews and very close to our location. Maybe it is their own taste or it is just us that we are a little picky but we didn't enjoyed the taste of the ribs we ordered. Compare to other restaurants we've tried. $0.75 per ranch dressing we asked . :( not cool 😒 Other than that, service was good. Fresh fries was fine.

Heard rave reviews about this place, so we decided to give it a try tonight and placed an order for pickup. While I was given a 15 minute timeframe, the order was ready faster than that. I ordered the Pretzel Bomb, with Brisket instead of pork, and substituted sweet potato fries instead of regular fries. It came with a choice of creamy or sweet coleslaw; I chose sweet. It also was served with cornbread. The brisket was so soft, it simply melted in my mouth. Delicious! The mac n cheese that came on the sandwich was quite bland, as were the sweet potato fries. The coleslaw was tasty and the cornbread was as well. My suggestions would be to have a cheesier mac n cheese, and add some spices, or even some maple syrup to the sweet potato fries.
