Driving by Woodstock we needed breakfast and didn't want anything greasy - with luck we happened upon the Woodstock Cafe, which was only a few minutes drive off of Hwy 81. The parking was simple (right in front of the cafe on the main drag in the quaint downtown). This place is a treasure for tea drinkers and coffee connoisseurs - their French Toast latte is the best latte I've had this year and my daughter was ecstatic over their "pick your own loose tea" bar of options for her morning brew. The breakfast sammies were fresh - including my enormous English Muffin sammie, which had the most delicious roast turkey, provolone, and egg inside. We have rave reviews for the hot apple cider (tastes like an apple right off the tree) and loved shopping in their wine and spirits store. Seeing all the flowers drying in the rafters was also quite neat. Worth a stop for sure!
All roads meet at the Woodstock Cafe. When you walk through the door you are greeted to a wonderful place. The amount of great energy, great food, and a warm greeting from the staff. I had a wonderful Bagel sandwich as if the bagel just came out of the oven, it was that fresh. The bacon was not rubber or turned into dust when you bit into it. Combined with the American cheese and the egg bringing up the combination of a great sandwich. All of the coffees are unbelievable. Plan to spend some time to look around at all the local artisan products that is there for your delights.
We routinely drive over an hour to eat here; the chef is a wizard. My wife and I just spent a month in Italy and Woodstock Cafe’s pasta is the best you’ll find anywhere. Their staff is filled with some of the nicest people you’ll meet. Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Bravo!

It was my first time at this place and it was a great experience. Awesome environment and very friendly staff. I will be definitely coming back. Great prices too!
The Cafe never disappoints, another amazing meal by a great chef! How he comes up with the flavor combinations is truly a gift. And the owner is so welcoming, she is always willing to pick out a great wine for us that pairs with her husband's (the chef) fabulous food. The staff is kind, helpful, efficient as heck and always with a smile! How this little gem exists only in this lovely small town is an amazement. I would expect a place like this to be in a big city, but they have brought the big city to the valley! If you are ever in Woodstock I encourage you to stop by the Cafe! Breakfast and lunch are comforting and delicious and dinner is an event for the senses!
My first choice when visiting the town where I spent my first 6 years. These folks are welcoming, warm, and engaged with their patrons. The menu is creative and always good. The dinners on Thursday through Saturday are fabulous. An additional benefit is well chosen well priced wines with your meal or take home. Thanks Nikki and Jose.
What an excellent place to have a lite meal ( also lite on the wallet ). You walk in, walk up to the counter and place your order. They give you a number to place on your table. You find a table and wait for them to bring your food out to you…simple enough. Food was delicious and staff was amazingly helpful and friendly. This is what you expect from a hometown Main Street eatery. Thank you for that great restaurant experience. Disclaimer…sandwich pictured shows how hungry I was and how delicious the sandwich was. Also, interior pictures are misleading because while we were there the place was filled with people. I had to wait patiently for the room to clear so not to get people in the pictures. 😊
So so cute! Super friendly staff and the food..OMG ...the freshest bread and deli meats. Don't drive by this place if your in the area
While we were passing through, we stopped and had lunch at the Woodstock Cafe. It’s a charming restaurant. The interior is really nicely done; small town dining area in the front, more open, spacious seating in the rear. You walk in and order at the counter and they bring your food to your seat. The staff we encountered were all very friendly, and the sandwiches were great. I had the Kaleidoscope and the man had the Reuben, both with the side salad. The salads were simple - lettuce, tomatoes, and shaved Parmesan cheese with a vinaigrette dressing. The portions - both the sandwiches and the salads - were large. The food was really fresh. We were both impressed! The restaurant also houses a small wine shop, for those interested in one-stop shopping. ;-)
Good coffee, great desserts, and good but inexpensive breakfast sandwiches! Also nice staff, great environment, and a decent selection of wines and beer.
