Oriole 9

The food was pretty good! Myself and those that came with me enjoyed our meals. However, the service was subpar. We were waited on by three different people so there was constant confusion and chaos surrounding our meal and what tables had what food. The servers were very nice but like I said they were also a bit chaotic. The place itself is nice and has the potential to be great but it seemed like it needed a good cleaning. There was a half drank cup of iced coffee hidden behind one of their plants by the door and the floor definitely could’ve used a sweeping. Overall, Oriole 9 was good and has the potential to improve drastically but not good enough to come back again for now.

We had brunch after a short stroll to Kaaterskill Falls… the breakfast was AMAZING. I ordered the corn beef hash with poached eggs and my boyfriend ordered French toast with eggs & bacon on the side. We also ordered the tater tots with bacon & pepper Jack and WOW, the blew us away at the start. Such a good breakfast app, it was perfectly cooked, perfect amount of grease and yummyness. My corn beef hash was so delicious - defiantly recommend ordering it. Their morning spiked drinks topped it off - we had Jameson cold brew and Baileys cappuccino. It was a great way to end the weekend in the Catskills.

Enjoyed breakfast at Oriole 9, but wouldn't wait the 45+ min wait for the meal (we were told 20-25 min initially. They only take names in person, not over phone) Food was good enough. Eggs Benedict with $3 extra charge for some spinach seems a bit of a cash grab. Breakfast burrito also good. Lavender latte is sweet and not overpowering.

Super Yummy and what a welcome ! They are full up here but ever so careful with hanging onto all the corners : service, delicious, well presented food.The simple things like coffee ? A real coffee made at their expresso machine, refilled generously. Seriously, can you ask for anything more ? Yes it is “loud” but even my 88 year old Mom enjoyed the energy, the welcome, and certainly the food.
