Garden Cafe

A real treat! So much great Vegan & Gluten free offerings. We shared 2 appetizers & 4 entrees between 3 of us and had lots of leftovers to bring home. Price was reasonable and eating in the garden was beautiful on this September 22, 2023 day. A great central location in Woodstock NY to walk around the town from. I look forward to going back.

One of the best vegan restaurants I've been to! The food and drinks are absolutely delicious! Their mushroom panini is so so good! I had Garden Cafe for lunch and dinner the next day! Their sweet potato black bean burger is also amazing! Their atmosphere is very welcoming! I'd make a trip back here just to eat at Garden Cafe!

Garden Cafe was our favorite stop on our little vacay up north. We stopped for lunch and to charge our car nearby before a hike at overlook mountain. Highly recommend checking out this cafe - it has delicious sandwiches, burgers, bowls and desserts. We also got hot chocolate (so good) and tea. Be sure to take a look at their specials! We got the cashew brie which came with a lovely rosemary blackberry compote and fresh toasted baguette which was possibly my favorite. The carrot cake was super yummy too with praline pecans (& it’s gluten free!) Service was excellent as well!

I got the portobella panini, which I absolutely loved. So tasty! Filling too. My husband got the macros dish with tofu. Everything was delicious, he especially loved the seaweed salad. He said he could eat this dish everyday. Excellent service, too! No wonder it was a busy Saturday afternoon at the restaurant. Lovely food and staff!

There is a reason I keep coming back - rather, there are reasons. The food is delicious and nourishing to the whole body; it is made with love. The people who work here are kind; they extend kindness to meet everyone where they are. The people who come bring themselves without trying to fit some mold; the space holds whatever is brought. May this wonderful institution keep thriving for our community and those who visit. Yes, I also come for the black bean quesadillas that I can’t stop ordering, and when we are in a dessert mood, the carrot cake is for lovers of carrot cake.

Loved the atmosphere and service! My friend and I ordered mushroom sandwich and cauliflower tacos. We also shared carrot cake; it was delicious, a bit on the sweet side but very good. I would definitely recommend the mushroom sandwich, it is exceptional! Their focaccia bread is amazing! Definitely recommend for both vegan and non vegan food lovers!

One of the best meals I’ve had in the long time! So many options and the daily specials were so fun! We got the baguette with cashew brie, tofu satay, noodle less lasagna, and pesto pasta. Would recommend absolutely everything! Our server Lee was so kind and helpful! We were so full but needed to try the dessert and got the brownie to go and it was amazing.
