Spring House Tavern

Went for my boyfriend’s birthday, just Him and I. Got there at 7pm, was told there’s a 20 minute wait. Waited maybe only 10 minutes and was seated quickly. For an appetizer, we got the mozzarella sticks and they were hot, seasoned very well and the cheese pulled beautifully when you took a bite. When I say everything we ate was delicious, I mean it. Everything served was perfect. I’ve never ordered fried chicken at a restaurant before that was so dang good. My boyfriend raved about how perfect his steak was. The sides we got were just amazing as well. Service was great too! Drinks, appetizer and entrees came out super quickly. Our waitress was hustling around, rarely seen standing in one place but still made sure we were taken care of on a busy Friday night. She was a peach. I’ll be back. Promise.

Great place for dinner and drinks. The staff at the hotel we stayed at recommended we try it and it was Delicious! We had the steak and chicken Alfredo. Very generous portions, and the veggies in the salad were so fresh. We definitely would recommend this place, and if we get to visit this area again, we will enjoy another dinner here!

Traveling through Woodstock, VA. & had dinner @ the Spring House Tavern. Food & service was very good and prices were reasonable. My wife & I shared a large portion of ribs (waitresses' suggestions) that were very tasty & more than enough for the 2 of us. I would recommend the Spring House Tavern if you are in the area.

Fortunately for traffic on I-81, we were rerouted through Woodstock and lucked up on an excellent dinner-ribs with homemade BBQ sauce, loaded baked potato and great salad as well as the chicken dinner with white pepper. Homemade mozzarella sticks which were a nice change from others you find. Very efficient service and cozy atmosphere. Menu with a wide variety at reasonable prices. We'll keep this on our list so the next time we're in the area, we'll definitely go back!
