The tender, flavorful, seasoned perfect items & reasonable price! Family style: Yummy!6426 Bells Ferry rd ,Woodstock Ga is Great... I like the : 2 meal combo ( ribs & smoked turkey+fried okra Mac & cheese )! Or the Vegetarian meal is yummy, for my lite dining days, too (Avocado sandwich+ vegetable plate)... I always enjoy my doggy bag carryouts later, too! I am a Foodie, that lives in a gym, pool, for weekly exercising...

This location brings the flavor of the original that was down the street. Delicious BBQ 100%! The BBQ Pork plate was amazing and provides 8oz of meat with 2 sides and toast. The sweet tea was freshly brewed to perfection. My only complaint was the higher prices, but for a Southern Date Night or an every once in a while dinner, this place is definitely worth the cost. This place beats Sonny's BBQ hands down, and a lot closer.

JD’s has regularly managed to tame the unruly beasts in my home with smoked pork, tenders, chopped chicken, collards, and fried corn. The indoor seating is spacious and the staff is attentive/helpful. But to be honest, the true appeal is to bask in the variety of aromas coming from the kitchen - that is worth the walk inside if only to pick up a to go menu. We all like the wings and the sides have been consistently good but the hush puppies were just so overwhelming good I don’t think the kids have shared them with the adults yet. I can say the honey butter is pretty tasty. Maybe one day the old man will get to try a hush puppy. Sigh and resign myself to defeat? Nah, I’ll just start hoarding all the banana pudding for myself. JD’s is great. Go there and win the day.

Great place. Music was good.. Not just country. Several beers on tap. I love ipa taps. Bar keep was super nice and very quick. I'm new to the area and I'm always looking for places to stop for a quick bite and good cold beer that isn't just playing country music only and is very clean and this place is it. I will be back here.

This place looks cute and all but the prices are way too high for the quality of food and service! The only thing worth getting is the fried corn. Seriously, everything is over priced. The place was a ghost town and I know why. Event the kids menu was less than desirable. We sent back some food... fries were little stubs.. drinks watered down. The staff was a bunch of young girls who weren’t really on top of things but they just seemed distracted or something. For it being empty I just don’t understand. Go somewhere else for BBQ.

My previous review of this place was back when they were in their old building and at the time, portion sizes were good, quality of the food was good, and prices were fair. However, having gone to their new location I can say that prices have jumped way up (see photos of old and new menus) and portion sizes have gone down. I ordered the half rib rack and my ribs were rubbery and tasteless and the special of the day, smoked sausages, just tasted bad. The smell of smoke when you go in stings your eyes and the waitresses seemed distracted and hard to flag down. I'm disappointed with how JDs has changed. I was happy to see them on the up and up but the food is just not worth it anymore.

Phenomenal experience. Incredible food and even more incredible service. The bartender was super friendly and accommodating, and all the other staff as well. We had the fried pickles (delicious) and the jalepeño poppers (best poppers I've ever had). Then I had the brisket with mac and cheese and baked beans. I highly recommend that combination. My husband had the fried chicken sandwich with sweet heat sauce. Also amazing. We are about to tuck into the banana pudding...yep, as I suspected, its amazing. I would give ten stars if I could. We shall be back.

I ate for the first time ever at JD's BBQ today for lunch. Taylor was my server. The whole experience was fantastic. I was asked two or three different times if I needed anything but it was not overbearing. The barbecue sandwich and baked beans that I ate were very good. I asked for a Cherry Coke Zero and Taylor went to the trouble of making sure that I got Cherry flavoring in my Coke Zero. The whole experience was a five-star experience and I will be back. Thank you for a great lunch.
