I recently had a Lobster Salad Roll with Hellman's mayo. Absolutely incredible. I'd recommend to any lobster roll lover!!!
Later I had samples of several ice creams and found it nearly impossible to choose. You won't be disappointed with the choices and tastes!! Definitely returning for more soon.
Staff extremely helpful and friendly management!! Give it a try for sure if in the area!!!

Having worked for WHOI since the start of the pandemic, very few food establishments have been open. I have walked by this place a hundred times and always wondered what it was like inside....Well, today was the day. I stopped by to grab a menu in the morning and by the afternoon I was ready for some lunch. I ordered the Thai Chicken Burger. Absolutely FANTASTIC!! with all the different veggies and sauce, it was an explosion of flavor like I've never had before! The chicken was flattened and juicy. The bun was lightly grilled with butter. Do not go on a first date here though as this sandwich will be all over your face and hands! If she doesn't mind, marry her!!
The French fries tasted home made and were perfectly crispy with some added sea salt.
The girls behind the counter were very friendly and attentive. The place was clean with lots of good conversation.

Do yourself a favor and order from their food menu. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend the fish tacos!
I had the classic cheeseburger with fries. The burger was good. I especially liked the seasoning on the fries. Food was served hot. Service was very good and friendly with a desire to please. I finished my meal with a very good caramel and chocolate covered pretzel ice cream. I would say prices were moderate. There is limited indoor seating as well as additional seating on the sidewalk. Located very close to the Steamship Authority.
I had the turkey club w/fries. My Sister had the tuna wrap w/chips. All of our food was really good. I would definitely recommend grabbing a bite before catching the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard.
I am writing this in August of 2020. I am happy to report that the old Jimmy Burger is back and better than ever. It includes cheese and lettuce and I am very happy with it. The pricing is much better as well now, which I was concerned with in the past. The quality of ingredients is consistent, and their ice cream has improved. They are now using Gifford’s, which is the same as Candy Go Nuts, and it is more affordable than CGN. Their menu is now more limited because of COVID, but if you have a chance to purchase their lobster roll, you MUST do it. It’s the best I have ever had, and my 86 year old grandmother agrees.
Crazy that this small diner produced such an amazing burger but even when no one was there they took the time to make ever single bite delicious! Would recommend if waiting for the ferry, was just wowed by this small burger shop!
Ice cream was okay but the burger and donuts are amazing! The workers are very welcoming and nice!
Fantastic bacon egg and cheese and iced coffee. Stopped in a week ago with a 13 year old and he devoured chicke fingers and fries. New owner, really nice people.
After eating at jimmy’s in woods hole all I can say is wow ! local experience, food is fresh and delicious, staff is friendly, would highly recommend coming in if you are around the area , hand cut fries won me over.
