Chimerical. Food you can tell is made from the best ingredients and with passion. Cookies are absolutely dreamy as well as the obvious pies. Popovers are an entirely fabulous category within themselves. The service is so welcoming and it's a joy to see young smiling faces working their butts off with lines out the door all day everyday. Pie In The Sky is a perfect Cape Cod experience for all ages and for every appetite.
We Love This Place!!!!!!!!!!!. We come here every summer and LOVE the food (especially the popovers and smoothies!)!!!!!!!!!
YUMMY. Pie in the Sky has a wide selection of delicious sweets as well as filling lunch options. The food is fresh and the staff is incredibly kind and friendly. If you're anywhere in Cape Cod, I recommend a trip. Try the croissants!
PITS rules woods hole as far as I am concerned. It warms you up with tomato soup when its cold, it supercharges you with sugar at anytime and makes you laugh with funny looking popovers . Who cares if the staff is often slow and there are huge lines of obnoxious tourists in the summer ? PITS has also made it niche for itself by being open until really late. Very much appreciated by all. Open mic nights are a highlight and so are the 2 dollar bills. Sadly, - and I am really sorry to say because PITS prides itself on its coffee - the coffee really sucks. But I'll be there faithfully again.
This is the best bakery on Cape Cod. Open 24/7, great food, line out the door in summah. Don't miss this authentc slice of Cape heaven.
Great stop!. For coffee & a snack, this is my top choice in Woods Hole. When you're waiting to catch the ferry to Martha's Vineyard, Pie can't be beat
The veggie wrap had a scandalously small amount of hummus. Seriously, why such a tiny amount of hummus?!?! The sandwich was lame. The cheese Danish was awesome, and the coffee is probably good. But I can’t recommend the sandwiches or wraps.
This was on my Cape Cod list and I was so excited to go! I waited in the wrong line for 10 minutes because there is no direction or proper signage. Why does online ordering not work? The popovers and the popover sandwiches were excellent. We asked for them to be heated, when we received them they were not. The Danish was just okay. The chai tea was very sweet. The coffee was excellent. I would go again and only get the popover sandwich and iced coffee.
A gem amidst the clay, Pie in the Sky is an iconic bakery to visit in Woods Hole. They have delicious pie and baked goods along with coffee, smoothies, sandwiches and more. Staff are friendly. Shout-out to the other Nina I met who works there. Great little area to sit and eat outside with a smoothie bar. Highly recommend!
Fun location, great atmosphere, loved the cheese danish, the egg sandwiches and the coffee! Looked like a long wait but they work quickly. We hit this after biking the Sea to Shining Sea Bike Pathway and several people were stopping in after taking the ferry from Martha's Vineyard. This was our favorite drop in spot on Cape Cod.
Good breakfast with a selection of more than 6 sandwiches. They are open to switching ingredients if needed. Vegetarian choice available. Pastries are really good, I tried the blueberry scone.
The best breakfast ever, absolutely delicious!
And they start at 5am, earlier than any restaurants at the area.
After biking the Falmouth Bike Trail this is a good stop in Woods Hole for coffee and delicious pastries. Always crowded.
Limited seating inside but plenty outside.
The popover sandwiches are a must try. I especially recommend the Popover BLT. Turkey Reuben is also very solid. One of the busier cafes in the area, Pie is a breakfast and luncheon standby for the Woods Hole scenesters. Nice outdoor seating area, great place to people watch. Fast service and good drink selection. Well worth a stop if you’re in town for a vacay or just catching a ferry. A Woods Hole classic
Definitely a place to visit, eat pie and everything else! So glad we were able to come here a few times while in town. It was delightful. Staff is friendly, place is small but cozy. They have indoor and outdoor seating, restroom outside and they take cash/cc.
They make everything in-house except the bagels, which by the way, the garlic bagel was delish! (From Cape Cod bagels)
The danish-great, cookies-great, lemon merengue pie-great, magic bar-great, popover-great…all yum!
They had some gluten-free and one vegan pastry each time we went. And they also have non-dairy milk options (yay!)
Almond, oat, coconut and soy milks.
Unfortunately we tried their Costa Rica coffee and their house blend, both were tasteless and bland. Surprising and disappointing as we had espresso drinks before and those were good. Not sure if it was an off day for coffee or what.
Another thing that would be nice is to have prices on the baked goods. Even if the list changes or there are seasonal pastries it would be nice to know that pie is $4.20 and cookies are $3.25…we had to keep asking and hold up the line. And it’s not like we weren’t going to buy a bunch of food, but everything else is listed so why not add it for customers?.
Overall a wonderful place to grab a bite and some treats for later. Definitely support local!
Great food and pastry. Good coffee, real smoothies, not from a mix. Small indoor eating area but plenty of outside seating. Nice stop at the end of the bike trail or ferry terminal.
