Delicious Peruvian style rotisserie chicken with lots of other latin options including burritos and sides. I ordered the 1/4 white chicken with plantains and fried rice. I also tried their spicy green and white sauces. The food was delicious and you get a really large portion for $12.25 after tax. I was in and out of the restaurant in 15 minutes and ended up having so much food it kept me full through dinner. I highly recommend District Rico.

I highly recommend the dark chicken (I ordered 1/4 dark chicken and it’s enough for lunch). It comes with 2 sides you can select. The brisket if good too but expect to wait about 20 min. We 2 people spend about $30. I love the quality here. The fried banana is undercooked though.

It was okay. A bit busy during lunch rush, but cleared out quickly. Seating is kind of close and loud talking neighbors were annoying, especially since we were all so close together. I would go there again, but definitely only for takeout. Food was good and plentiful!

This is some of the best Peruvian chicken in the DC area. Blows the one that starts with an S out of the water. Their fried rice could use a little makeover. But everything else is great. My coworker swears by their shrimp burrito. I've had Lomo Saltado as well, and it was very flavorful.

Great peruvian food. Chicken was amazing. Sides were excellent. Highly recommend. Sorry I didn't take photos right away I started eating and forgot.

Three of us split a whole chicken cut into 8 pieces and four sides- it was spectacularly tasty and a great price. I’ve never had a drumstick melt off the bone like this one did, with the caramelized beautifully seasoned skin. The rice and beans also slap, and the variety of accompanying sauces kept it interesting throughout the meal. I would have loved a slice of crusty bread or a roll to go with it and soak up some chicken juices, otherwise 10/10 and we will be back!

Staff provided warm and efficient service. Food was delicious and comes in generous portion sizes. We enjoyed our chicken nurrito and 1/4 chicken with sides. Sauces for the chicken range from no spice, medium spice and spicy.

We came here on a Monday at 5:30pm and it was pretty much empty. I called ahead to ask if the carnitas plate, plantains, and fries were gluten free and they are. The plantains and fries are fried in the same fryer but neither has gluten on them. The carnitas meat was excellent, and I'm from San Diego so I'm picky. The plantains were also excellent but I'm no expert on those. My partner thought his burrito tasted very good as well.

Any place that makes brussel sprouts and carrots so delicious that you'd be willing to get them instead of french fries deserves 5 stars in my book. The chicken was also very flavorful, but that vegetable side surprised me the most. Would come back, if only they had locations in San Jose, CA.

Visiting the area and was very grateful to have found this place. The people and food are absolutely amazing. The flavors of food, moistness of the chicken, and quick food prep was all on point. Highly recommend this place!
