A must visit in Georgetown! We got two of their classics: sticky toffee pudding, and chocolate ganache. I loved the sticky toffee pudding and would not repeat the chocolate ganache. Cute shop with 4 tables for seating.

Lots of cute cupcakes! It was too sweet for me and I couldn't eat a lot, but now I want to eat it again.

Super sweet the cupcake itself is good and love the variety, but the sweetness is very much up there. There's always a line and the space is tight. I'm happy I got to try it. We ordered keylime, coconut, caramel Machado, coffee cookies cheesecake, apple pie, and pumpkin spice. My fav will be the apple pie and coconut. Both were very enjoyable.

The cupcake shop is a bit pricey, but the unique texture of their cupcakes sets them apart. The RED VELVET cupcake, in particular, is a standout with its delicious flavor. Despite the cost, it's a worthwhile indulgence for a special treat.

First time going. Never heard of the place. Only went because a friend pointed it out while we were walking around the area. There was a long queue going out the door, but it moved rather quickly since the cupcakes are already made. It’s just a matter of customers knowing what to order ahead of getting to check out. FYI, keep the entrance door closed while waiting in the queue. Service was good. We got our cupcakes and they were delicious!

Super tasty and cute (but also expensive) cupcakes! We waited in a line that wrapped around the side of the building for about 20 mins to order and about 5 mins inside to get the drink! They had cute Halloween themed seasonal cupcakes and some daily, weekly, and monthly specials. Each individual cupcake was about $3.45 individually or 6 for ~$22 so it was definitely pricey but a tasty experience nonetheless.

I was really excited to try this place out. I got the recommended red velvet and chocolate cheesecake! The red velvet’s cream on top was literally the best part it was so good. HOWEVER, the rest of it was kind of dry and whatever … the chocolate one was pretty rich I think a big chocolate lover would enjoy I think I just wasn’t as much in a mood for it as I thought I was

I was so excited to come to the original Georgetown cupcake! I have been to the LA location a few times and that was always great but it was fun to come here! We came on a weekday so it wasn’t super busy, the cupcakes were surprisingly slightly dry but still good! I will say that I had higher expectations.

Their cupcakes are amazing as usual. I have known their shop from TV shows. Which is one of the reason why I wanted to visit Georgetown Cupcake in Washington DC. They have a great consistency for the cake; soft, spongy texture and combined perfectly with their buttercream. The cupcakes are baked freshly throughout the day at the shop, and use specially-sourced ingredients such as cocoa from France and vanilla from Madagascar. My favorites are their signature cupcake; classic "Red Velvet" cupcake with a vanilla cream cheese frosting and "Vanilla Birthday" cupcake with a traditional sweet vanilla buttercream. Other flavors were fantastic too.

Came here in the evening and tried their vanilla squared, strawberry sundae, and butterscotch cupcakes. My favorite was the butterscotch! Very innovative flavors but would recommend coming first thing in the morning as they bake the cupcakes overnight, so if you come in the evening they are not as fresh. Would return!
