One of t the best places I found to have coffee and the hors d'oeuvres Munchies or excellent homemade and delicious the ambiance also is beautiful come in meet people or just stay by yourself on your computer and study or whatever it's a great place to hang meet friends and just have a good time also the music on Wednesday night from 7 to 9 gives you something to do is if you don't like going to clubs one of my favorite places and the service is to die for

The service was fast, the cashier and staff knew what they were doing. I came at about 10 am so the flow of customers was steady but not exceptionally busy. I got the butterkuchen and a large mocha. They were both well done; I would definitely return for the butterkuchen again. I spoke with another customer who had the ham and egg breakfast sandwich and she said it was delicious. The pricing is on par with Starbucks, but the quality is better, so I have no complaints. They have an ample amount of nicely sized tables, and can be a great place to get work done as they have plugs under the tables. Unfortunately, I am not a resident of DC, or I would definitely utilize their stamp card.

Nice place, good service... not loving it the limit your stay to 60 minutes but it's okay I guess, they can have more costumers. Had athe sweetest tea ever... not a fan of drinks with too much sugar but it was okay. Good match with the cupcake place next door tho!

This is the first place I ever had Berkshire Pork. It was in the Ham and Cheese sandwich. I can never pronounce the name of the cheese. Anyhoo, this is a special treat for me since I usually don't eat meat in the morning. The Americano here is on point also. Really strange that there is a Starbucks directly across the street. Nothing against Starbucks, but I try to eat locally whenever I can.

A small but great Cafe. The atmosphere is nice and offers plenty of space to sit or browse on a laptop. The coffee, especially the latte, was both tasty and well made. Furthermore, the staff were friendly and seemed happy to work there which is always nice.

Coffee and food were good but ordering and speed weren't the fastest. The coffee sizes were limited based on your choice of drink. Food was reheated in oven versus a microwave which is a plus. With no one in line we placed our order but delivery of goods happens beside the register which requires you to walk through any register line to get the food versus delivering to table or passing over the pastry case. Rewards program seems a little broken with a punch card and online ordering allows for rewards but they seem very different.

It's rare that I drink coffee that is good enough for me to actually stop and think about it. But that happens here. Really great tasting. Personnel also a notch above the ordinary. And the pastries are delicious. On the downside is kind of small and the tables are rickety. But if you are in the neighborhood, skip Starbucks and try this place instead.

We were looking for a place to have some coffee. First we wanted to go to Starbucks but then we found that place. I can say this was one of the best Cappuccino I ever had.

As someone who runs an independent coffee shop, I like to drop in to others when I travel. These guys are literally across the street from a multinational coffee shop that dominates the industry. But they do it right. I watched the barista pull the shot, brew it and steam the milk. She did it exactly the way I'd want my employees to do it. Do yourself a favor and visit a place like this instead of that megachain.

Coffee is the worst here. It's sour or too acidic. But pastries are good. I liked the cruffin a lot

Service is good, Coffee is great, but pastries are AMAZING! everything I eat there is awesome and they make it all there! I’m going to get so fat eating all the delicious goodies. Try a cruffin or the butterkuchen. In case you were wondering, They are my favorite! I actually pass 2 Starbucks to get here.
