Had dinner there the other night. The greeting at the door was pleasant and extremely grateful from the start. We were seated quickly and efficiently and our server was quick and extremely cordial. She gave us amazing suggestions and flawlessly attentive service. The food was straight up on point from beginning to end from the apps, to entries to the dessert course. Oh my goodness and the properly drawn pint. If you're ever in DC you need to visit the Elephant & Castle.
Always stop here when I'm in DC. Food is always fantastic, staff are very sweet and and down to earth. Highly recommend.
After visiting the White House we stopped in for some lunch. The food was good, especially the Fish n Chips. Most authentic she’s had since London! The service was good and the atmosphere nice with cute decor befitting an English pub.
Their pretzel appetizer was the best I've ever had! I also got their meat & mushroom pie and my guest got the Cheese Toastie. The side Caesar was not great, but the app and meat pie were well seasoned and absolutely delicious! The day we went was gorgeous so we sat outside on their patio which was lovely.

The food was good. I had the fish and chips, which I highly recommend. Others had the buttered chicken and/or potpie. The buttered chicken didn't go over too well with some, while others really enjoyed it. And ice cream for dessert.
The service was Awesome 💯 Got a chance to meet and chat with the manager, James. Who is very personable, courteous and accommodating. Our server, Will was friendly and helpful. Thank you Both, keep up the Great work.

Come here for the fish and chips, stay for the game. Convenient location and true to the spirit of a pub. Extensive menu offers something for everyone. Full bar and a few craft beers on the menu.
I had the fish and chips but I stole some bites of the pot pie. Meals were very heavy and flavorful. Probably perfect for a cold winter lunch.
Shared a wonderful dinner with family. I highly recommend a reservation as we were able to walk in with no wait with a reservation while others had a small wait to be seated. The food and drinks were slow coming out. The food was delicious. The mini meat pies were delicious with the leak pie being the table favorite. The blue cheeseburger, we added the chipotle aioli was delicious. I could put that aioli on everything. The dipping sauces with the chips were a fun and delicious variety. Bloody Mary was also very tasty! Great evening out!
10/10 would recommend! We were visiting and stopped in for dinner, food was delicious! We ordered the pretzel bites, French dip sandwich, the deluxe burger and poutine as sides for both sandwiches. For dessert we ordered the Big Ben brownie! Service was amazing! She was great! Drinks were superb too! We ordered their draft cider and Crabbie’s Alcoholic ginger beer!
Excellent atmosphere, lovely food. My first time here, but they delivered on the promise of the premise. My date had the wee flight of pies and I loved my steak and mushroom pie. And they had Strongbow cider on tap.
Really nice pub. We had exceptional service from Vashon, "V". He was busy with lots of tables and made sure to pay attention and take time with us. The food is very good.
Absolutely worth it. The food and service is awesome. Servers are kind, food came quick and the atmosphere is very relaxed. They even have Estrella Damm beer.
