Best spot for pupusas by far! Family owned for 40 years! I love their vegan options too with jackfruit and mushrooms. Highly recommend!

I went late on a Wednesday with colleagues after getting into DC. Cozy Salvadorian -Mexican spot for snacks. I ordered the Pollo al Cilantro and Loroco con Queso Pupusa (but the pupusa never came; the ones my colleagues ordered looked good.) The cilantro chicken was hearty and comforting and I'd order that again. Service was solid and handled by multiple staff, and that may be where the second part of my order got lost even with follow up. I was still full from what I ordered so no harm. I also tried some plantains and fried pork my colleagues ordered. The pork had great flavor but seemed a little over done. The plantains were good. Overall a good experience.

You can't got wrong with the pupusas, the bean & cheese, chorizo & cheese, and pork & cheese are my go-to choices. I've also had the fajitas a couple of times and they were so good, it's a lot of food though, I couldn't finish everything on the plate. We always get an order of the guacamole when we go and it's top notch!

Great vegan options. I got 3 pupusas that were delicious, albeit on the softer side than my liking. It did take time to find the server for our check and for orders even at a slower period of the night but the food and drinks made up for it.

Good Guacamole, Delicious Pupusas and some excellent fried plantains. The food here really is very, very good. If you haven't been, you should go. The service can be a little slow but it's worth the wait.

I'm a Veggie Foodie visiting from PHX, AZ.
This is hands down the BEST Salvadorian Restaurant I've ever experienced. Great service, the food was timely and perfect. The popusas were delicious, the Avocado Salad was amazing, and they even had a decent wine selection.... Excellent ! 👌👍

Been here a few times but more recently for brunch. They had a paddy’s day special with a green (spinach) pupusa. It was really good along with their very addicting chips and salsa. Waitress was attentive which was nice. The reason for 4 stars is the customer service side. A lady was sitting one table over with no headphones blasting whatever she was watching being very rude and inconsiderate of others. I asked the hostess to kindly ask her to turn the volume off - not an outlandish request. Idk if the hostess was too shy or just didn’t care but she pawned the request off on a male co worker who went over, said something quick and went away. The volume was still as loud as ever. Great food but the staff need to understand it’s standard practice not to allow patrons to listen to music or videos at full volume without headphones.
