Best bathroom at Shakas. Bartenders and food are always on point. And whenever they have live music or DJ it's definitely kicking off and most the bar singing along

My husband and I ate here while on a weekend getaway in October. We wanted a close place to have some raw oysters.
The seaside raw bar was across the street from our hotel and the good reviews indicated we should try it and boy we certainly did enjoy it.
My husband had a full dozen of their raw oysters while I had a half a dozen. They were very good. Fresh, briny and delicious!
My husband had the steamed shrimp platter with a pound of shrimp, drawn butter and cocktail sauce came with his meal along with red skin potatoes, spicy sausage and half an ear of corn.
I had the 1/2 and 1/2 platter which was 1/2 pound of steamed shrimp and a 1/2 pound of crab legs. With the above accompaniments. It was so very Good! We really enjoyed our meals and will return again for sure.
I don’t know what to say besides “come here!” Absolutely amazing service, hospitality and most importantly, food!! Holy cow. Never have I been in a dive bar that not only stores the labeled and dated food right in front of you, but preps and cooks it as well!?? My fiancee has a gluten allergy and when we initially asked about the gluten, the staff was not too sure. After a very friendly and brief conversation, we found out most of their dishes are gluten free!!! Heck yes!! Two dozen oysters, a 50/50 boil, crab dip and several drinks later, we were having drinks with the,then off duty, chef and having and amazing time eating and drinking and making new friends all around. Such a divey experience and the prices for the food are amazing. Do not hesitate to come here. Don’t let the cover fool you. Just coke hungry and thirsty.
The best crab legs I've ever had. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was awesome too. They have a big patio in the back that has a stage for events and corn hole boards you can play. Great atmosphere.
This spot is a must visit if you hit up Virginia Beach! The food is great! The service is great! I want to say thank you to JT for making my family and I feel welcome and taking care of us. Will definitely visit again and highly recommended!
Went here to the event space in the back to see United Souls Band. Had a blast!
**TIP** Use the entrance in the back to enter versus going through the front door.
Don’t let the small bar atmosphere pull you away from trying the amazing seafood. After sampling the casino & Rockefeller style oysters we ordered more and more.

Don’t be intimidated by the size inside. The cook is killer. Food is amazing! Super flavorful. Buddy got the po boy liked it a lot I got the French dip delicious. And side of sausage was on point. Only improvement I could say is get a fryer for fries. Other than that y’all killed it

A bit of a dive but that’s what makes the atmosphere great.
Great selection of drinks and the baked oysters were amazing.
