This place is AMAZING! When u first pull up it doesn't look like it'll be good, but once u try their burgers, hotdogs, and homefries ull be amazed! Very friendly atmostphere, feels like home!

I go here all the time and usually just get s chili dog and it is always good. Slightly crunchy on the outside with a piece of cheese on the bun. Always a safe bet. I take the chili home and put it on burgers. Love this place.

Delicious Dogs and Burgers and Great Service!!. Famous Uncle Al's is awesome!! The dogs and NY Hot sausages are always mouth watering and great and the burgers (I like mine with the grilled onions) are fantastic! The service is always great. I'm posting on here a few pics of the food. They serve Boars Head meats - the best!!

Hot Diggity Dawg!. The homemade fries are to die for, and they even have the old school ice (tiny nuggets) in your drink. Only place I go for dogs.

Not sure why but I came in with low expectations and boy was I pleasantly surprised. The place was packed with people. The server was very nice. Food was excellent and exceeded my expectations by a long shot. Prices are extremely great too. Highly recommend.

Awesome customer service as soon as I walked in the door! The prices are super cheap! like 4 dollars for a burger!!! Everything is clean and in order! I love it I will definitely be back!!!

rating FOUR stars because the hot dog is good tastes good it's just.. the texture is SNAPPY! i don't like snappy hot dogs i like soft hot dogs.. like when you take a bite of a hot dog it snaps back.. i don't like that it's a texture thing.. nathan's hot dogs also do that (not the store brand the restaurant brand like you can find in new york) but anyway the hot dogs are really good i just don't like the texture.. that's why i rate it 4 stars and not five

Trust me I was reluctant when my husband shouted out oooh let's get hot dogs. We were in VA beach and it didn't seem like the meal I had imagined. But once we got in and sat down we realized the hotdogs were all boards head, so I decided that I would go thru with it. We ordered fried pickles that were AMAZING, and then hotdogs with our toppings and shared a drink. I was pleasantly pleased and enjoyed lunch! A place I will return to for sure... especially for the fried pickles.

Great little spot to stop for lunch! The waitress was friendly & awesome customer service skills! We vacationed to VA from Iowa to hang out in Virginia Beach & go through the tunnels & on our way out of town stopped for lunch and couldn't have picked a better place to eat! We even bought a Famous Uncle Al's tshirt!

Whenever I find myself in Virginia Beach, a must visit, us to Famous Uncle Al’s. The gals are professional, pleasant and highly attentive. The bratwurst and sauerkraut, worth the drive over from Cape Charles for.
