From my first experience to my most recent…this restaurant is outstanding! We celebrated my husband’s birthday and the birthday menus were a nice touch! The server, Alex, was very attentive and offered good suggestions. The food tasted fresh, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection! Plate presentations were beautiful! I can’t wait to visit again!🥰
Ordered:
📍 Fried green tomatoes
📍 Petite filet mignon
Both of our filets weren't prepared as ordered but they weren't so raw we couldn't eat it, one was close. I know a lot of chefs are very stuck in how they want to prepare a meal, but if you ask it to be prepared a certain way because that's how you're okay to eat it then that should be honored.
The servers were very good and attentive and the ambiance was nice. It was a quiet rainy evening so guessing it's probably a lot louder when the weather isn't keeping everyone at home.
I would go back and try different things off of the menu, which seems to have a really good variety.
Only my second time here and both times the food was delicious! The service and all the workers are friendly as well. Would definitely recommend this place for dinner!
I popped into the cobalt grille for lunch, and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere was lovely,as was the hostess and waitress. I tried the sparking sangria, crab cake appetizer, and the strawberry shortcake and I was not disappointed. I can't wait to go back and try more selections from the menu.
Had a wonderful date night with my husband with wonderful service and delicious food and drinks. This is my third time here, and every time I have had a great visit. Definitely a gem in the Hilltop area. They are open for lunch and dinner now and wish I lived closer!
Great experience. Awesome food, well trained staff.
Stopped by for quick drinks and they were delicious. The server was so friendly and prompt. Clean and decorated atmosphere. I will be back.
We went here for Valentine's weekend - the food was phenomenal. I ordered the chicken penne pasta and it was absolutely divine. My date got the pork ribeye, and to our surprise they asked how we wanted it to be cooked. Not only did the cook it beautifully, overall the plate was beautiful each item perfectly complimenting the other. We also got the baked Camembert, it was our first time having it - all of the pairings the gave us for it were delightful. To finish out our meal we decided to get the tre leches with the cardamom ice cream, and the unsung star of that was the ice cream. It was a true delight to eat here. I cannot wait for us to come back for just the food alone. The service was a delight as well - our waitress was patient as we took our time to decide what we wanted, and even took my drink back to the bar when I said that it was a little bit too strong tasting for my liking. Aside from the stunning food, which was beautiful to eat and look at, the amazing waitstaff, the restaurant itself was very warm feeling and comfortable to be in. It's not the type of place I'd go dressed down - I'd definitely wear something nicer here, maybe business-casual.
All in all; I highly recommend trying this place if you are able to afford the trip, as I wouldn't say it is the cheapest place. The food is worth the price in my opinion.
French fries are the best steak fries I have had! The duck breast was excellent as was the smokehouse burger. Didn't like the mashed potatoes with the duck breast (I think they are instant). Would have been awesome is fresh made with skins in there. The cocktails were good. The worst part was probably the noise. Very loud so don't expect a quiet romantic dinner.
Excellent food and well made mixed drinks. Marvelous choice for a spontaneous new place to experience. Noteworthy mention tonight are the veggies. It's such a pleasant surprise when they taste fresh, and Cobalt gets this detail right. The only negative ping on the night was it gets quite loud even at least than full occupancy. Food, drink and ambiance are spot on. A night out well spent!
