Delicious food I got the chicken curry and my lady got the number 76 to go which was a soup. On the way to deliver it I had to slam on my brakes and everything tilted forward and the container with the soup stayed closed! Great food and even the containers are great if you get it to go! 100% would recommend and will be back.
Place is in a downscale strip shopping center. Clean, but not fancy. Very small dining room. Little if any English spoken. This is our second time eating here, and everything has been good both times. Prices are more than fair. I would return with pleasure.
Small, no frills Vietnamese restuarant with good food for a good price! Went with party of 5 on Saturday night and got a table right away, service was quick. Ordered 3 large pho noodle soups, 2 banh mi sandwiches and a order of fresh spring rolls for $79 (avg $13 per dish). Plenty of parking available (located in shopping center). Would go again.
The pho was incredible. Actually the best pho I have ever had. It had so much unexpected depth and complexity to the broth and then with hoisin, siracha, chili oil and lime thrown in it was unreal. We also got fried rice, a vermicelli bowl, Thai tea, and shrimp toast. It was all so so amazing. Plus the wife and husband that own it are the absolute cutest and sweetest people. I will be going back at least once a week.
This is my favorite restaurant, the food is well cooked and reasonably priced. I often eat Thanh Xuan Dry Noodles, Mixed Noodles, Wonton Noodles, Grilled Ribs Rice, and Sour Fish Hot Pot. You should come here to experience Vietnamese dishes with rich cooking flavor and very friendly owner.
Comfort food in a no nonsense setting
If you haven't been to Saigon 1, go! Go now!! The owners are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have the best experience.
First trip we stuck to basics and ordered pho and bahn mi. The broth was flavorful with perfect balance. The bahn mi was moist and crunchy and a lovely blend of salty & sweet.
We were so impressed we went back the next day for lunch and opted for the ginger glazed salmon as well as a rice platter with pork, beef, and shrimp. The pork spring roll was great. Everything was absolutely scrumptious! Midway through the meal the owner brought over a couple of steaming bowls of pho broth that hit the spot and was a very nice added bonus - caring and thoughtful.
The restaurant is very clean with charming details. Get in there and experience it for yourself!
This was an absolute treat!! If you are in the mood for PHO and in Virginia this is the place without a doubt! Worth the drive. We arrived and were greeted by (CHOP) who was the absolute man. Chop made everyone feel very welcome and was a wealth of information. The PHO was on another level, just the right portions and left me feeling energized. CHOP hooked it up with his strong, signature Vietnamese iced coffee. It left some main stream coffee shops in the dust. Over all it was a nice experience. The restaurant was clean, the the service was great and the food was amazing. 5 out of 5

Home sick and all I wanted was Pho from Saigon 1, they have the best Pho I have tasted! I am currently eating low carb and wanted extra bean sprouts to make up for the noodles. They came through in epic ways to make this girl one happy camper! Thank you for having the best soup and for giving me extra bean sprouts! Oh and their lemongrass chicken is AMAZING as well!!
