Great place that we tried before the dinner crowd. My dining partners love calamari and they said this place did not disappoint. Fried just right so that it wasn't chewy. I split the Sunday Gravy rigatoni with my partner and it was more than enough for the two of us. Great, flavorful red sauce. Wait staff was great as well, he was very knowledgeable about all the dishes and the preparation.
First time eating there, we tried an appetizer of chicken meatballs, which I thought the meatballs were a little over salted, marinara was good.
I got the Italian sausage sandwich and my wife got the chicken parmesan.
The Italian sausage was so salty I couldn't eat it. The bread for the sandwich was extremely good, you could tell it was made there. I ended up switching my meal with my wife (who also thought the sausage was salty), the chicken parmesan was very good, chicken was tender and juicy but crispy on the outside. Service was great, both our server and the girl who brought our drinks were friendly, smiling and talkative. We would go back but would definitely avoid the sausage sandwich. Supposedly their pizzas are good, so maybe we will bring the kids to try a pizza next time.
Good option for when you want a pizza or pasta at an odd time, since they are open all day. Service is very friendly and attentive, food is good for what you can expect in Tucson in general, and the price-quality ratio is great
Scordato's was an amazing place for date-night dinner. The warm wood walls and dim(ish) lighting gave the space a relaxing and romantic feel. We ordered garlic toast, the penne with pork tenderloin, the eggplant, zucchini, and pepper pizza, and finished with tiramisu. Every bite was amazing! The ciabatta toast was crunchy and garlicy, the pork was salty and perfectly cooked and went amazing with the creamy sauce on the penne, and the pizza was delicious and melty. We look forward to trying more of the menu in the future!
Wonderful lunch spot...the Benito Box was the perfect size and even came with dessert.
My girlfriend ordered the gorgonzola cheese & grape salad with grilled & sliced chicken breast ($4 extra) and I had the mannicoti (no pic). We ordered the warm chocolate mousse cake to split for dessert. We really enjoyed all the food. My girlfriend especially liked the chocolate mousse cake. The service and atmosphere was only worth 4 stars and nothing more (that's still high). We wished that they actually had real boothes. It's too bad previous owners got rid of them. We'll be back again someday and will probably try their pizza.
The food was delicious. Great bruschetta, tasty salads, wonderful pizza and cheesecake. I loved the bento box option because it allowed me to try a little bit of an appetizer, a salad, an entree, and a dessert. I thought the price was very reasonable. Will be returning!
Got there before the crowd. What a great place and they are busy! Food was excellent and our server Randi was top knotch. The bar is well stocked and the prices are good. Eggplant parm with chicken is superb as is the canalon.
My friend took me out for my birthday and we had lunch there. It was absolutely delicious. I plan on taking my husband. I had a salad, stuffed mushrooms, Cannelloni and the Tiramisu. All of it comes on a plate with 4 sections. Portions are perfectly sized, you can finish it all without being too full after.
Clean and modern Italian restaurant with good food for the price you could expect. The service was good but not great and it took a long time for the food. Everyone liked there dish, but thought the garlic bread was exceptionally good. The tables were spaced pretty far apart so it didn't seem cramped. The water didn't have a good taste but they brought out lemons to put into it.
