Review Scordato's Pizzeria - Tucson

Lady Margaret
Great place that we tried before the dinner crowd. My dining partners love calamari and they said this place did not disappoint. Fried just right so that it wasn't chewy. I split the Sunday Gravy rigatoni with my partner and it was more than enough for the two of us. Great, flavorful red sauce. Wait staff was great as well, he was very knowledgeable about all the dishes and the preparation.

First time eating there, we tried an appetizer of chicken meatballs, which I thought the meatballs were a little over salted, marinara was good. I got the Italian sausage sandwich and my wife got the chicken parmesan. The Italian sausage was so salty I couldn't eat it. The bread for the sandwich was extremely good, you could tell it was made there. I ended up switching my meal with my wife (who also thought the sausage was salty), the chicken parmesan was very good, chicken was tender and juicy but crispy on the outside. Service was great, both our server and the girl who brought our drinks were friendly, smiling and talkative. We would go back but would definitely avoid the sausage sandwich. Supposedly their pizzas are good, so maybe we will bring the kids to try a pizza next time.

Good option for when you want a pizza or pasta at an odd time, since they are open all day. Service is very friendly and attentive, food is good for what you can expect in Tucson in general, and the price-quality ratio is great

Scordato's was an amazing place for date-night dinner. The warm wood walls and dim(ish) lighting gave the space a relaxing and romantic feel. We ordered garlic toast, the penne with pork tenderloin, the eggplant, zucchini, and pepper pizza, and finished with tiramisu. Every bite was amazing! The ciabatta toast was crunchy and garlicy, the pork was salty and perfectly cooked and went amazing with the creamy sauce on the penne, and the pizza was delicious and melty. We look forward to trying more of the menu in the future!

Wonderful lunch spot...the Benito Box was the perfect size and even came with dessert.

My girlfriend ordered the gorgonzola cheese & grape salad with grilled & sliced chicken breast ($4 extra) and I had the mannicoti (no pic). We ordered the warm chocolate mousse cake to split for dessert. We really enjoyed all the food. My girlfriend especially liked the chocolate mousse cake. The service and atmosphere was only worth 4 stars and nothing more (that's still high). We wished that they actually had real boothes. It's too bad previous owners got rid of them. We'll be back again someday and will probably try their pizza.

The food was delicious. Great bruschetta, tasty salads, wonderful pizza and cheesecake. I loved the bento box option because it allowed me to try a little bit of an appetizer, a salad, an entree, and a dessert. I thought the price was very reasonable. Will be returning!

Got there before the crowd. What a great place and they are busy! Food was excellent and our server Randi was top knotch. The bar is well stocked and the prices are good. Eggplant parm with chicken is superb as is the canalon.

My friend took me out for my birthday and we had lunch there. It was absolutely delicious. I plan on taking my husband. I had a salad, stuffed mushrooms, Cannelloni and the Tiramisu. All of it comes on a plate with 4 sections. Portions are perfectly sized, you can finish it all without being too full after.

Clean and modern Italian restaurant with good food for the price you could expect. The service was good but not great and it took a long time for the food. Everyone liked there dish, but thought the garlic bread was exceptionally good. The tables were spaced pretty far apart so it didn't seem cramped. The water didn't have a good taste but they brought out lemons to put into it.

Stopped in here for lunch on Wednesday. Great decor, friendly staff, and delicious food! We had a hard time deciding what to get because several items sounded so good. We ended up ordering the antipasto salad and two pizzas for 3 of us. Ended up being the perfect amount. The antipasto salad was a bit different, but was delicious; the reduced balsamic vinegar was awesome! Both pizzas were better good too! I would definitely go back and try some of their other offerings.

Wow! After touring three breweries-one good, two not so good-we were looking for something to eat and didn't want to risk another bad brewery. We decided we wanted pizza and this place looked like the real deal. We grew up on the East Coast and the pictures on the website showed just the right amount of char. They also listed eggplant as a pizza topping and that usually indicates that somebody knows what they're doing. My wife ordered what could be described as a smoked old fashioned and she really liked it. We tried the sausage sliders as an appetizer and they were very good. My wife tried the eggplant parmesan and it was nicely done. No sugar in the red sauce! I did the Three Mushroom pizza and I added fried eggplant. Apparently, I really didn't need to add anything. I don't know how they managed to fit about a pound of 'shrooms on that pie but they did it. The crust was as good as any I've had in Arizona. We finished with the warm chocolate mousse cake and we were glad we did. This place might be the capper for our next brewery tour as well.

My sister & I went for lunch on Friday. I am always on a quest for decent pizza (as I am from NY) their's was excellent as was the stuffed mushrooms, salad (a neutral dressing was used), linguine & chicken meatballs & of course gelato! Our Server Leslie was well informed & quick. We will return soon, thank you. Janice/Barbara

Nice open airy decor, the staff was wonderful and the food pretty good. I ended up liking the antipasto better than my pizza, but I'd eat it again. The restrooms were clean and stocked, even if they did miss a very important detail, shown in picture. Nice place for a cozy lunch or dinner, I'll be going back.

Loved my pizza (Margherita). The crispy crust was outstanding. My husband ordered the Stuffed Red Pepper which came with a side of Fettuccine. Again, outstanding and ample portions of all.

Food was good. We had the Bruchetta (amazing), the Stuffed Mushrooms (ecwn more amazing), and an 8" pepperoni pizza (pretty good). Nothing really sets this place apart from other places. Everything was good but it's almost like every other pizzeria. Eric, our server, was really good though. The interior was designed very tasteful BUT it was muggy and a bit uncomfortable where we sat which was over by the bar at a high top table. Not sure what that was all about but other than that I do recommend going here.
