This little cafe is EVERYTHING I could want! The Alibi Benedict was insanely delicious! I’m still thinking of it now days later. The pineapple pancake my partner got was not too sweet and a hint savory. Definitely the best I’ve ever had! The coffee was also delicious as well. A recommend and I’m definitely coming back 😍

Amazong breakfast on every level! Great pancakes, great eggs Benedict’s, and egg dishes! Service is outstanding! The Bloody Mary was very good and comes with a lot of extras. This place is a must and worth the wait.

This place is popular for a reason. The food is really good with just the right amount of variety. They also have weekday early bird specials for the cost conscious. If you’ve had a good experience at a restaurant, you’d probably avoid using an expression like “Train Wreck” in your review, but that’s just what I had! No joke, that’s one of their specialties. It was delicious, copious and beautifully prepared, the eggs cooked just the way I like ‘em.

We’re traveling across the country and one of our favorite things to do is look for great food. Being in Tucson, Mexican is our go-to and Baja Cafe exceeded our expectations in a major way. Michael was our waiter. Friendly and efficient. He took his time explaining the various dishes we asked about. I had the huevos rancheros with smoked brisket Machaca. I love Mexican food and this may be the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Every single ingredient was flavorful. Even the hash browns were great. I mean really great. The depth of flavors were carefully put together and each bite seemed better that the last. We had ordered coffee which was very good as well but then the table next to us ordered mimosa’s. They looked good so we ordered some and they were very good. Mine was mango and near perfect. All in all this is a great local restaurant. A must try if you’re in the area.

One of the best breakfast places I have eaten at, ever!! We shared the Brisket Caramelo Benedict, Berries and Danish Cream Leige Waffles, and Snickerdoodle Pancake. I would recommend any one of these. The portions are more than generous and the customer service was amazing! Oh and they make their own hot sauce. We tried two and both had great flavor, although I wished the hot was more spicy.

This was my 3rd time at Baja Café, and my 2nd visit to the Broadway location. While the ambiance & atmosphere at the Campbell location are a big step up from Broadway, the food is the same. The service was slow, forgetful and inattentive on this 3rd visit. The best service was at my first visit to the Campbell location. Service was good at my second visit to Baja Café (which was my first visit at the Broadway store). The food. The FOOD is why to come here! They have a menu of both sweet & savory breakfast items. All of the menu offerings are unique, distinctive creations you will not find anywhere else but at Baja Café. All 3 meals haven't been outstanding creations that stand on their own as "worth the trip". For this most recent visit on Sat 9/23/2023 at about 7am, by myself. I ordered the Brisket Enchilada breakfast, which was pricey at $19.00 for the plate. My food arrived quickly and was hot and fresh. The brisket was tender, lean and flavorful. The red enchilada had enough chili flavor to keep me interested without being particularly spicy. The cheese level was just right, complementing the beef and corn tortilla in a nice balance. The enchilada was served with black (house made?) refried (I think) beans on the side, and 2 eggs on top, which I ordered over medium. I could only eat 1 of the 2 enchiladas provided, after eating both eggs and some of the beans. The coffee was okay, but the memorable part was the entreé! With tax & tip my out-the-door total was $27. Not a "cheap date" for sure, but of a quality that lives up to expectations, considering the cost.

We were told to make sure we had breakfast here while in Tucson. Our first stop revealed to be a small “hole-in-the-wall” restaurant. It isn’t fancy, but there was a substantial line of people waiting to eat. We soon discovered the food to be fantastic and the portions are huge. We have returned multiple times and enjoyed every meal. This is a must when it comes to a satisfying meal all around.

This was my first visit and will definitely not be my last. This place is always busy so do not let the line/crowd scare you. Most definitely worth the wait!!!!! The wait staff were all very congenial. The food here is spectacular!!!!!! I do not do sweets or make it my choice for a meal......but the snickerdoodle pancake is OUTTA THIS WORLD!¡¡! I have attached photos of the pancake.....definitely try this no matter what else you order. The food was prompt and hot and very flavorful!!!!! I cannot say enough about this true gem in Tucson!!!!¡

Wow! I don't even know how to put into words how good the food is at Baja Cafe. I want to move to Tucson just for their breakfast menu. Amazing!

Great small breakfast place. It's quite popular and they don't take reservations so expect a long wait (20-30 minutes) during popular times like Saturday and Sunday morning. Thankfully they do have e a tent to block the sun as you wait. The portions are large and delishious. The pancake options are especially tasty, though they'll max our your calorie limit. Also quite fond of the benedicts, their sauces are excellent.
