Ya Boy's Bbq

Delicious food!!!! Okay service. I can't say enough about their BBQ. We used them to cater an adult birthday party and EVERYONE raved about the food. We ordered ribs, smoked chicken wings, chopped chicken and sausage all cooked to perfection. My only complaint is that they were late and made no effort to remedy it. It's a contract not a hookup and that goes both ways if my money is green and delivered on time, I expect full professionalism. I understand things happen especially when cooking but offer some remedy for me having to leave a house full of guests to pick up late food. Other than that fantastic.

Dropped by after the recommendation of a friend and was very pleased! Be prepared to wait a little for the food since they do make things as they are ordered. A small inconvenience for fresh food. Definitely recommend the lunch special which is available on Thursdays and Fridays. Lunch special includes 1 meat and 2 sides for $8. Also, be sure to check their business hours as their hours seem to vary from time to time. Lastly, there isn't much seating inside but there are a few additional tables under the patio outside. Glad to see black owned small businesses like this one doing well!

Only my second time there but always awesome. I was remembered and they make me feel like part of their family. I live in st. Pete but visit every time I have to go to Tampa. I ordered enough food for 3 days. It is all so good I can never pick just one thing. I did try their deviled eggs today. Topped with meat and their homemade bbq sauce. Yummy. Plus I hope they enter that sauce in contests. Its so good. It is the best combination of all a bbq sauce should be. True jem in Tampa.

So if you are in a good mood for some super great soul food. please stop in here, the staff was super friendly and the food was even better. talking about licking your fingers good. Smoked wings on point. Baked beans and Mac and cheese were to die for I will be returning here with many others. Fire

🤤🤤🤤 Ya Boy’s are now My Boy’s! Got the hot bbq wings for lunch and they were top notch! I’m not a big vinegar based bbq sauce fan, but these wings are so juicy and the flavors in the sauce is simply delicious!! I always wondered why they’re only open from Thursday - Sunday but I found out why! There was a bit of a wait for the wings, but I’ll never be upset waiting for fresh food! Get Ya Boy’s now, before the new housing goes in because you’ll never be able to get inside! Can’t wait to go back and get the ribs. The baked beans are sweet and almost made me go back for more.

I hadn't visited in awhile. Really wanted some bbq and collard greens and decided to stop in. I was asked if I wanted greens on top of rice. Requested no rice with my greens, I got rice with greens. Meat and corn muffin was not moist. However the greens & mac salad was delicious. The ribs & wings meat was seasoned well, if it was moist it would have been yummy. Atmosphere was good.
