We know their food truck and it's great! A great take on pulled pork & chicken. The "fat tacos" platter is a mouthful and the loaded nachos appetizer will honestly feed 4-5. Try their "corn jalapeño" side dish, it's a great recipe!
😛...this food is heaven on earth! The ribs are so tender and full of flavor it's enough to make cry. The sausage dinner was incredibly tasty. I love the owner. So sweet. You need to try this. The baked beans and potato salad taste like the church mothers made back in the day. Make it happen ASAP!!!
Owner Reggie was very nice, took the time to talk to me about the food he serves. I had never tried collared greens before, he listened to my concerns- I'm a picky eater-- food was amazing!!
I really like this place. Right next to a small neighborhood intersection, where you sit in a quaint little dinning room and watch the traffic go by. The people are so friendly, they really make you feel welcome. When I drop by, I don't feel like I'm doing business, I feel like I'm visiting friends.
The only thing I can say negative, are the hours of operation.
The best thing though, is the food. Anything I've tried has been delicious, and I've never been disappointed. I'll won't stop coming back.
Stopped in after finishing my job for the day and ordered a rib sandwich with baked beans.
The ribs are absolutely delicious, the sauce is right about perfect, but I suspect the beans were canned.
Won't order the baked beans again, but I will definitively be back for more meat!!
This little gem is tucked away in the east side of Seminole Heights. When you walk in, the smell just invigorates your sense! The blend of smoldering oak wood and their blend of spices ensures you that you are about to eat some REAL BBQ! The BBQ sauce is a unique blend of mustard, sweet, and heat. I had the brisket and sausage. The brisket was lean and moist. The sausage was savory and mild. The collard greens are what you would expect to come from an old, down home southern grandma pressure cooker! It's set up primarily for take out, but there are a few small counter height tables with backless stools for dining in. Besides serving wonderful BBQ, the owner is just an all around genuine good man!
Really fun atmosphere, everyone is so friendly and accommodating! The food is AWESOME. We're definitely coming back for more of that pulled pork. We just moved here and we already feel at home.
The best ribs I have had in Tampa!and my new brother Earl chopped up the ribs for me and turn them in to rib tips! The food is delicious and the hospitality that Earl gave me was the very best and the place is clean and the music is old school r&b. I will definitely be back!!!!
Forget all the 'big' BBQ restaurants and get the best pork sandwich you've ever had here. Their sauce has mustard in it and is a perfect blend of sweet mild heat and spice. The pork is rendered nearly fatless with charred smoky bits. Oh man, I want some now. Their ribs are the best, too, but, I didn't like the brisket because the meat quality seemed lacking.
This place has amazing food and very friendly service. Earl is a great guy and you can tell he has a passion for bbq. I went for the first time last week with my boyfriend and we were back for more tonight.
