Bavaro's Pizza Napoletana & Pastaria

The most amazing vodka pasta sauce I've ever had. I even purchased a pint to take home. The garlic bread with cheese was delectable as well. Note, it does get busy and you can make a reservation on their website. Highly recommended to make a reservation. Another note, you will be sitting very closely to other strangers. Just keep that in mind, but it is part of the experience

Excellent pizzeria! Antonio is Da Man in the kitchen, he works the pizzas as a true Napolitano Artist. I'm Italian, he is Italian... My roots are from Napoli, his roots are from Napoli... I expect my pizza in a certain way, he totally DELIVERED. This restaurant also has other great food, I had pizza, my wife had wild caught Salmon... All excellent, service too quality... Can't miss this place!

Bavaros is excellent. Our server, Hayley, was great. She knew the menu, the wines and had recommendations that were right on the mark. We had the bruschetta and olives to start. Then we had the ravioli alla vodka and the tres carnes pizza. The appetizers and the main dishes were excellent. For dessert we had the tiramisu and the cannoli, which were excellent. We are coming back for the spaghetti and the burrata pizza that Hayley recommended.

My friend and I were on our way to an event at the Tampa Theatre. We stopped at Bavaro Restaurant for dinner. The atmosphere is cozy and quaint. The servers are accommodating, professional and very kind. Their teamwork display an energy of family which showed in their dedication and sweet personalities. The cuisine was delicious, fresh and served with perfection. I would like to thank Haley for accommodating our dining experience with a smile. When visiting Tampa, we will certainly stop in, request Haley, and have dinner at Bavaro. We definitely recommend this restaurant.

First-timers in this restaurant came from the recommendation of my sister-in-law. We had a reservation, which was honored. The atmosphere of the restaurant was calm and family-friendly, WE LOVE IT. We had a small problem with the table, (it was not leveled). But our waitress helped us resolve the inconvenience. As an appetizer; we ordered Oysters with melted Parmesan cheese. THEY WERE DELICIOUS. To share, we ordered a Margarita pizza and Home - Made Ravioli Al Formaggio. The Margherita pizza was wonderful, with a lovely hint of wood. Being originally from New York, we are fans of pizzas. Honestly, this is one of the best we have tried so far here in Tampa. The cheese (di Bufala), which we added, was very good, with the perfect sauce/crust/cheese ratio. The crust of the pizza had a phenomenal burned look that we really enjoy. We will eat this pizza again. The ravioli dough was a little thick for my taste. The portion of cheese could have been better as well. But the star of this dish WAS THE SAUCE. The house sauce (Vodka) was simply masterful. The next time we come back, we want to try a pizza with this sauce. For dessert, we ordered Nutella pizza. To be honest, it was perfect. The ratio of Nutella and the crust of the pizza was the right one. We'll be returning to this restaurant in the near future.

I've eaten here for years and have never been disappointed. Always fresh and delicious! We had the Burrata with burrata, cherry tomato, arugula, prosciutto di parma, parmigiano reggiano, and evoo along with the Wood-fired Broccolini with crumbled crispy prosciutto, parmigiano reggiano, evoo, seal salt, lemon zest. See photos. Both were superb! The atmosphere feels very cozy European inside or you can dine al fresco at several available tables along the sidewalk.
