Had the occasion to pick up a pie from Best NY Pizza awhile back while waiting on a flat tire to be repaired. Complete spur of the moment decision.
I tend to like pizza with lots of toppings, and their "Best Pizza" with 10 toppings certainly had that covered. The pie was loaded, but held up pretty well to all the toppings, could actually eat with hand rather than having to cut up. The crust had good flavor and consistency.
Facility appeared to be clean and well kept, while I spent very little time here as order was to go, I would have no problem with coming back again.
Nice place. The NY pizza is good. Definitely not the best and their garlic knots are quite small with not much taste.
Love the pizza and the pizza rolls. So nice to eat there because you can eat on the casual side or the more formal side. Awesome sliced sausage, yummy sauce. Chicken Parm roll is super yummy and can feed two people. Family size rolls and calzones are HUGE! Def for 4 adults!
Best pizza I've found not in Manhatten.
Quick in and out if just want a slice or two. Usually have 5 or 6 varieties ready. Bottom line: good food and nice atmosphere to enjoy it in. Mellow music and comfortable temp. Fast too.
I ordered the meatball sandwich. It was exceptional. Perfect amount and distribution of ingredients, delicious and fresh. The roll was crispy and soft in the right places, so it held together well and basically, it hit the spot. Nice restaurant inside. Good service. I like it very much and wild come back again!
Best Eggplant Parmesan Sub!. The restaurant was quite busy, yet the staff was very attentive and friendly. I ordered the eggplant parma sub. It was the best I ever had! My friends enjoyed an assortment of things from Caesar salad to pizza to ziti and cheesey bread and garlic knots. Everyone had nothing but good things to say. I definitely recommend giving it a try if you haven't already :)
Love this place!. This is my favorite pizza place in Tampa! The food is always good. It is a little costly but definitely worth it.
Favorite Pizza joint hands down. I have been coming to this restaurant for the past 3 years and I will say this is the Best pizza in town Service is great and never leave with anything less than a smile on my face
Great pizza, not as good dinners. We've been getting pizza take out from here for a few years now. It is always good. However, one time we had family visiting and one wanted to order a meal- it was the lasagna. It was really sub-par, we felt. Loaded wtih cheese, pretty much it was all cheese- melted mozerella on top (tons), and tons of ricotta. It also seemed like it could have been previously frozen.
5 STARS out of 5 STARS. I am a native New Yorker, moved to Tampa Florida 10 years ago. I really know New York PIZZA. Let me tell you this place is fantastic. This is real NEW YORK PIZZA. In fact their name - BEST NY PIZZA is 100% accurate. Their PIZZA is as good as, if not better than, any Pizza I ever had growing up in New York. Try it yourself, this place is as good as it gets. Beautiful place, freindly staff, and most importantly for me......GREAT PIZZA!
Ordered a large cheese, pizza and a chicken Parmesan. The pizza was absolutely delicious the sauce, the cheese, the crispiness cooked to perfection great flavor. My daughter had the chicken Parm with fettuccine and garlic knots, and it was very good. The service was outstanding ask for Kennedy… she will greet you with a smile very attentive does not rush you. All in all 5 star experience will definitely be back.
I'm new to this area but I was very pleasantly surprised upon trying this place! I regret that I didn't get the name of the ladies who helped me at the front counter but they had wonderful customer service. They were friendly, fast and efficient. There is plenty of seating for those who want to dine in and even gelatos available for purchase! Be sure to check out some of the specials too. I am from New York and was very pleased with the pizza! I plan on returning!
I usually visit the Bruce B. location, happened to be training in this area and wanted to stop in to see if they were as good as the other location. I really enjoyed my lunch 2 slices and a Pepsi. Being a New Yorker we can be quite critical of Pizza and I have to say this pizza does not disappoint as the sauce is very flavorful, plenty of cheese and a nice thin crunchy crust!!! LOVE it!! Great price point, ambiance is great. I will come back with my family as it as there is Clean and ample seating, great music playing in the background and the Customer Service is excellent. 10/10 ⭐️
Pizza is pretty good. I compare all pizza to NYC pizza because that is what I know. I also got a plate of spaghetti and meat sauce. It was horrible. There was more sauce than pasta. I could have made a better sauce with hunts products with my eyes closed. Service is great and so is the atmosphere.
Wow I finally found good pizza in Florida! I grew up in NY surrounded by some of the best food in the world. Including pizza! I ordered a pizza with several toppings and garlic knots. It was great! Delicious sauce and a thin crispy crust that actually survived a delivery! Most local pizza is mushy, greasy and bland. NY Best will be my go to from now on!
I love the authenticity of this place! I used to live up north in NJ & NYC… obviously nothing comes close but I will say that this place is the closet thing to it here! Thank god they’re in the neighborhood because lord knows we can’t just eat Dominos or Pizza Hut. Completely unacceptable behavior for any true pizza lover! Jayden and Jose were awesome too! They’re always super helpful when I come in to order and they always take care of me. I always appreciate their service!
Our go to pizza place. We judge other Tampa Bay pizza joints against Best NY. Established by folks who were born and raised on Long Island, they did LI pizza proud.
It really is the BEST PIZZA! I recently just moved here and was looking for a good pizza place && finally found it. I definitely will be back and the customer service here is amazing, everyone was so helpful. The cheese bread was also a really good too.
One of the best NY style pizza places in Tampa. As a veteran of countless pizza squirmishes and a New York transplant I speak fluent pizzanese. Do yourself a favor and try this places pizza pie. You can thank me later. Newly refurbished and additions to their menu, che figo!

This was the first time we ordered from here and the pizza was very good! I deducted a point for the price and difficult experience I had.
I was super hungry and had ordered over the phone an 18” 4 cheese pizza with mushrooms and an 18” Philly Cheesesteak Pizza without green peppers (my partner absolutely can’t stand the taste of green peppers, which is a shame in itself 🤣). When I got there 20 min later, my pizzas weren’t ready but it was only a 5 min wait to get them. Unfortunately, they forgot to remove the green peppers and I had found out after almost driving out the parking lot. Unfortunately, I had to wait, what felt like another 20 min to get it. I admit I was hangry and every minute felt like an eternity 😫. The guys were nice and tried to offer me a free soda but we don’t drink soda and I thought that was a bit of a half hearted way to make up for the extra time lost and my other pizza getting cold. The pizzas smell was absolutely divine in the car though!
Price: these were pretty expensive pizzas, about $30 each with taxes. I did get specialty pizzas but I was still taken aback at just 2 extra large pizzas totaling to $60.
4 cheese Pizza with mushrooms- this was absolutely delicious. The mushrooms were a nice, thin and slightly crispy texture. The sauce was sweeter but not acidic. 5/5
Philly Cheesesteak Pizza without green peppers- this was another great pizza! The steak bits were so nice and slightly crispy on the edges. The caramelized onions added a nice sweetness and the provolone gave it great texture with the mozzarella. 5/5
