Debbie Was our Server she was a complete doll. Her serving is wonderful and she keeps the atmosphere fun. This diner is definitely a top spot to grab food anytime of day . Parking lot is small but it works . ✌️safe travels my people.
Great food!!!! Had pancakes and eggs. Service very good. Fast and clean. Good varied menu choice. Will go back
Highly recommended
Our server Donna was amazing we were 1st timers out for breakfast and wanted to break away from the regular chain restaurants. I had the biscuits and gravy my fav and husband had the country fried steak and it didn't disappoint at all!! We will definitely be back for lunch and dinner soon!!
Good place for a good breakfast. Food was pretty typical diner food, tasted good and satisfying. We had the Chef's Special (pancakes, eggs, and meat of choice) and the Corned Beef Hash and Eggs meal. The corned beef hash was crisp and delicious; I also loved the grits with cheddar cheese. Coffee was standard diner coffee. Good quality and portions, especially for price. Not necessarily anything special, but worth the trip.
We had to wait a little while to pay due to to-go orders, but our service otherwise was excellent.
Will likely visit again.
I met some friends here this evening and had a lovely time. The servers checked on me frequently while I waited. Made sure I didn’t need anything and kept my water glass full. Finally I ordered some fries to nibble on and they came out on a PLATTER! I was so happy. Listen, life is too short to not have enough fries (lol) ANYWAYS- the rest of our food was good too. Had eggs over medium with the potatoes…. Get the potatoes for SURE! And my eggs were cooked perfectly. No runny white, but plenty of yolk. And all of our portions were HUGE! This is a small business here in Tampa Bay I would love to see continue to thrive. Definitely go here!
Similar to an old school diner. A little less counter space service than days of old. Food, very good, speed of service and getting served the meal was very quick. Linda, our server at the counter, was amazing. Lively wit, sense of humor, she made us feel like we were long term patrons and it was our first time there. Cheryl was our initial contact person, warm smile and old friend type of greeting, loved that. The pass from Cheryl to Linda our server was seamless. Open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year as we were informed by Linda. High marks to all, especially Linda and Cheryl. We will go back when in the area!!!! Recommend it to anyone!!!!!
Step back in time with the decor & excellent food. The menu is extensive, so it makes it difficult to hone in on only 1 meal at a time (darn it) No worries though my sister & I will be back to systematically go through the Entire menu. BTW, I know Liver & Onions is NOT everyone's cup of Tea, but allow me to tell the ones that it is,,, some of the BEST I have ever eaten!! Kudos to the Chef. Keep up the Great Cooking. Please.
Superb service, welcoming atmosphere and simple diner food at its best. Add in the friendly local flair and you got a recipe for a high tier diner.
It's been over 7 years since I last visited The Three Coins. Everything I got and felt the first time was still here and happy to share it with our child. Southern hospitality plus food executed fast and efficient. It's a great place for a quick breakfast or a late night post outing. Or anytime in between I feel.
My sister and I visited the Three Coins Diner based on our Airbnb host's recommendation and we were NOT disappointed. The service was absolutely incredible. We were helped by Linda - who made our entire night. She is the epitome of southern hospitality. She was the sweetest!!! She knew exactly when to check on us and kept the sweet tea flowing. She was friendly, attentive and an overall pleasure! The food was also on POINT! My sister had the southern skillet and I had the chicken gyro plate (I can't remember the exact name), but they were both amazing. The flavor was perfect. The food was fresh and a generous portion. As we wrapped up the check, Linda asked what brought us into town. We mentioned it was my sister's birthday. And low and behold, Linda came to our table with a generous piece of chocolate cake. It was heavenly! I'll go back to Tampa for that cake and Linda! She even used toothpicks as candles. What a sweetheart! We were so impressed by the food and hospitality we came back the next day at around 11pm after an event. We knew the food and Linda wouldn't disappoint. We were welcomed and served right away. I had the shrimp and grits and my sister had the steak and eggs. Yet again, generous portions and flavourful food!
If you're in the Tampa area, you have to visit this diner. The food is incredible and Linda's service made us feel right at home.
Thank you Linda!!!
I ordered the Hungry Man breakfast special I had 1/2 French toast with eggs, bacon and sausage. The food arrived very quickly! I really like how I can sprinkle my cinnamon and powder sugar on my French toast. The food was delicious and very friendly service !!! I went Saturday morning around 11:00am
