After you make your way through the casino, this place is absolutely phenomenal. The drinks are amazing and the wine selection is very good. We had the bone in filet. You could cut it with your fork. The lamb chops were absolutely amazing. The sides!! Oh my we had lobster Mac and cheese, asparagus, and the creamed corn with bacon. So yummy. Then we decided to split desert. The butter cake was perfect and the volcano dome was a winner with us too. Side note.. they also have a great French press coffee too. Hands down the best restaurant we have been to in Tampa. Oh and you can always buy the steaks at the butcher shop and take them home.

Council Oak Steak inside the Hard Rock hotel is a solid restaurant with tons of great options on the menu. Be sure you grab a reservation since it was slam-packed the whole night while we were there. Luckily, we didn't get in until late, so we were easily able to grab reservations right. before closing. Even those we were sat quite late, our team of servers were still 100% committed to our dining experience and we never felt rushed or disregarded. The bread basket is incredible - tons of different options. They are warm and perfectly soft. A solid bread basket really starts the meal off on the right foot. For appetizer, we got the bacon, which was good, but I don't think I would get it again. It didn't pack the flavor we were hoping for. However, the salads were quite nice. They were very large with lots of different additions beyond the normal lettuce. The filet was cooked perfectly. My only suggestion is a bit more seasoning - while it was good, the seasoning wasn't spread well so some bites were empty while others were quite good. Lastly, I wasn't a huge fan of either of our sides (brussel sprouts and asparagus), I thought both were quite bland.

Just a tiny bit loud, but the service was incredible like INCREDIBLE service. The food came out quickly and was delicious. The view of the chefs in the kitchen behind the glass brought such a fun, unique and intriguing atmosphere. The calamari, bread, ribeye steak, mashed potatoes and creamed spinach were all cooked and seasoned to perfection. All of this made for such a perfect 3 year anniversary dinner for my husband and I.

Went to Council Oak for the Sunday Brunch for my Wedding Anniversary with my wife. The brunch is simply amazing. So many options and everything was really good. Pancakes are made to order as is the omelets. The coffee crusted prime rib sliced by Butcher Ricardo was amazing. You simply can't go wrong doing this brunch especially with the selection of certain unlimited drinks.

We frequent this establishment once week. The bar side have live entertainment in a nice cozy environment with dim lights perfect for date night. The left side is also nice with a view of the kitchen but not as intimate. My favorite dish is the double bone in pork chop (when it's available) followed by the 24oz Ribeye medium well. My wife's favorite dishes are the lobster bisque soup and the lobster of the day sautéed. The crab cakes and salads are delicious appetizers. We did not like the lobster mac and cheese but the garlic mash potatoes and brussel sprouts were good. I was feeling adventurous and tried the Bone marrow (for each is own...lol). The chocolate cake melts in your mouth with small pieces of chocolate candy on the side. The drinks are also good, I prefer the Old Fashion. The Service is also good, the only downside is walking through a smokey casino to get inside.

Must have reservations to eat in the main dining room. The bar and lounge is open seating for dining. Live entertainment after 6pm on the night I went. Beautiful decor and a wonderful dining experience. The waiters were excellent and the food was beyond delicious. Best Lobster Bisque I have ever had. Creme brulee was incredible. Sea bass is the best tasting fish I have had in a long long time, seared to perfection. Yes I over ate, but it was my BIRTHDAY 🎂.

Council Oak never disappoints. Started with the porkbelly bacon appetizer then the main course was phenomenal had a bone in ribeye with garlic mashed potatoes then they gave us free chocolates. Also had the best service from our waiter Mark. Mark paid very good attention to my party's needs. He was very nice and made excellent recommendations. I was in town from Chicago and next time I come back I'm definitely going to request Mark as my server.

If you can afford an extra car payment go to dinner here....the food is absolutely outstanding! The best scallops I have EVER had! (creamed spinach with bacon) Sam's ribeye was unreal...they do all the meats in house and cook everything in front of you 😊💯

We live closer to the Hollywood location, but were traveling for work and decided to try out the Tampa location. WOW. The service and food was impeccable. 10 out of 10 for sure! The steaks were cooked to perfection and everything was presented perfectly.
