Maine Table Restaurant

We started with onion rings as an appetizer, and they were delicious. For the main course, I had the shrimp scampi, which is usually made with jumbo shrimp, and they had no problem substituting the small Maine shrimp instead. My friend had the meatloaf, mashed potatoes with broccoli and carrots. Everything was fantastic, the atmosphere is great and the prices are normal for a restaurant of this caliber. Our waitress, Meghan was phenomenal throughout the meal as well. I will be returning here many times in the future. The best restaurant experience I've had in quite sometime, and we eat out several times a week.

The decor is nice though it smells like in Las Vegas casino , the food —- meeh. Had the chowder - which was great but too creamy , the Caesar salad was ok , the pasta was subpar for the price - first the kitchen made a mistake substituting jumbo shrimp for regular , then when they made right - it wasn’t fresh - and game a stomach ache after. I would star 2 , but the older lady server provided great service. Atmosphere 3 Service. 5 Food. 2 Won’t eat again

Went last weekend around 5:45pm on a Friday. Restaurant wasn't super busy, Jayne three other tables. Waitress was very nice, it was her first time waiting tables. However, it was a long wait time for food. We waited at least a half an hour for our food, if not more. My fiance had the lobster mac and cheese which he thought was good, but a bit pricey. I ordered a burger, medium, that came out well done. We didn't have time to wait for me to send it back so I didn't bother. Fries were good though.

Long wait for meals. Made reservations for 14 for breakfast at 8:30 AM. We arrived within the allotted time (between 8:30-8:45) Was greeted by friendly waitress and seated.There were no other customers in the restaurant. The waitress took our orders within 20 minutes ; returned a while later with juices and coffee.By 9:30 we were still waiting for our orders and had not seen the waitress since she brought coffee. I went looking for her and found another waitress in the Breakfast Lounge ( for guests) and explained my concern and asked if she could find our waitress. I found her in the kitchen helping with order so I went back and sat down. A short time later she started to bring out our meals. We never received our meals all at the same time. She brought them out 3 at a time. By the time the first group had finished eating, the last group received their breakfast. She apologized and said they only had one cook. When she brought our check, she said they had taken 10% off meal. We left at 10:35 AM. The meals were good with the exception of one whose food was cold. The one positive note was the restaurant had been renovated and looked very nice.

Stopped by during the dinner rush and placed a to go order. Was taken care of quickly. Lobster roll was tasty and had a good amount of meat. But the clam chowder... Do NOT miss it. It was fabulous. One of the best clam chowders I've ever had. Creamy and delicious, the broth wasn't thin, and was brimming with delicious clams and potatoes. I should have ordered the bowl instead of the cup. Will definitely return for the chowder
