Food was seriously delightful and certainly decadent but not too heavy. The cocktails were fresh and delicious. Staff were super friendly and unpretentious. Comfortable and cozy while still upscale.

If I could give this restaurant a 10, I would instead of a five. Service excellent, atmosphere quaint. I live in coastal Virginia and the seafood dinners here were amazing. We had the salmon, shrimp and scallop dinners. Drinks and wine were amazing and desserts so good. Great way to end our vacation to Maine. This place is a must visit.

The food and staff were wonderful. No reservation, no problem. a great small restaurant, warm and cozy. We split an appetizer and a salad with Salmon (both of which were outstanding) and big kudos to our waitperson, she did not have any problems with it. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. If you are in South Portland looking for a good meal you should go there, you won't be disappointed.

I’m always impressed with every meal from David’s. Quality meal with excellent service and all relatively affordable. Love the atmosphere here. We’ve done many date nights here, but it’s also a great spot to go with friends.

One of the best restaurants in Maine. Hole-in-the wall with just a few tables, but the kitchen burns. Their specials menu always has something innovative and you can feel the passion of the chefs in their food. I come up to Maine every few weeks and I have to stop here every time.
12/10 stars.

Everything here was exceptional! The food was so good, with amazing portions and presentation. My husband and I had the Filet mignon and it might be the best I've ever had. Drinks, service and ambience were exactly what we were looking for!

Wonderful experience here. We sat up at the counter which is just two seats overlooking the kitchen, so you feel like you’re right in the middle of all the action. Everyone working here seems to enjoy their jobs, which is always a good sign! We loved the food, cocktails, and service and would return in a heartbeat!
