Taco Trio

Was out on a bike ride. I was starving. Stopped in ready to feast on some Mexican Food. I was a little disappointed. It did not impress. Prices were steep. A Burrito is $15 , they want another $3.25 to put Guac and Sour Cream on it. The portion was small. Both for the price, and by comparison to other places I've been. I got Enchiladas. Mostly because they already came by with Sour Cream. Figured I'd save a buck or two. Bean and Rice portion was extremely small. Chicken tasted plain,without seasoning. The Verde topping wasn't very Verde. Had a pale Milky look. Wasn't great. The best thing was the lil cup of Pico. With tip, it was almost $20,and came served on a paper plate. For $20, I'd like a real plate,lol. I won't return. Taco Escobar and El Corazon are definitely better in my opinion. Take it for what it's worth.

Was in the area and remembered this place was nearby. I'm so glad I stopped for lunch. The Carne Asada Burrito was exactly what I'd been missing. It tasted like being back in SoCal at my Mexican friend's house on a Sunday afternoon. It's basically upgraded counter service with a bar. I highly recommend 👌!

4.5+! Love the new space and great their excellent bar. Food was really good, margaritas delicious. Love that the new space allows for tortillas to grilled for the tacos. One suggestion though, if you order chips and salsa or guacamole along with your main food order, get that out immediately so you can enjoy them with your drinks instead of all food items arriving at the same time.

The food here is pretty good, with decent portion sizes and a variety of options. It's all pretty straightforward, too. I did try a house margarita and it was absolutely not worth $11. The vibes inside were a little odd and it was too warm. But A LOT of folks were getting takeaway while we were there and I think maybe that's more their specialty? Plus this space is new and maybe they're getting used to it. I'll for sure go back.

This is my favorite Mexican place in town. I've never had anything that I dislike. There is no table service, so if you're having a date night, this might not be the place. You order your food at the counter and then head to the bar to get your drinks. The margaritas are fantastic, but a tad expensive. My only recommendation to the owners, would be to lower the lights a bit and warmer.

This was my favorite Mexican place hands down in the Portland area maybe even in the whole state most likely! I am not disappointed with the food— however since the move, I am disappointed with the service. Maybe they just need a more educated staff maybe I showed up on too busy of a day I don’t know but we had put in a takeout order and it took us waiting almost 2 hours after they said it would be ready and we finally just ask for our money back. It might’ve been their grand opening of their new location so I will give them that benefit of the doubt but they should’ve been more prepared. We were not the only people waiting for food there were a ton of people waiting for their takeout. We only ask for our money back when they gave us our order and it was only half complete. They just did not have it together maybe they have pulled it together since but at this point in time I do not recommend unless you don’t mind waiting or dealing with staff that might not be that great! Again I will say the food is excellent! Most authentic Mexican food I’ve had since I lived on the West Coast!
