An amazing, delicious birthday dinner with great staff and great service! I couldn’t have asked for anything more...Isola never disappoints!
Brad has done a brilliant job, Jordan is THE server-extraordinaire, and Dancing Jenna & Mike on bar top it off... it’s the perfect food and drink storm! About time that old island got some new life!!!
Lovely little Italian place, good food, friendly service, prices no less but no more than you'd expect for one of the roughly two places to dine on a very upscale island. :)
Had the pleasure of my wife and I returning to one of our Islands restaurants, Isola last night and was really pleased. It’s nice to begin thinking of enjoying local restaurants after a summer of visitors, guests and other obligations. Really enjoyed the Cioppino with pasta. Sauce was wonderful, rich but not heavy and overbearing. It was filled with seafood, including shrimp, octopus, squid and shellfish. Totally enjoyable nice portion, so that I had enough to take home for lunch the next day. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the swordfish special served over various vegetables. It was prepared to perfection and the caper sauce complemented the entire dish. Really nice place to enjoy that is “affordable”.
Visited this fun little place off season and was delighted to find live music (from local artist Sarah). We didn't make reservations prior and had to wait a bit for a table to open but didn't mind at all. They were really busy this holiday weekend but the staff was so gracious for our patience that it made me wonder what nonsense they normally have to deal with. The food is on the Italian side of American. I ordered the penne Alla vodka which was a bit softer and sweeter than it probably should have been but I inhaled it like it was a warm hug. The pizza was good and really cheesy- Napoli / wood fired with some nice bubbles topped off with a delicate truffle honey. I will definitely be going back, not only for the wonderful staff and bonus entertainment, but also bc I'm told the gnocchi is very good! Plus Sarah owes me a Sinatra song ;)
Great atmosphere on the front porch and nice drinks. Good food with friendly service. Delicious risotto balls and burgers. Stays open a bit later than most places on the island.
Some of the best wings I have ever had. The portions are great and the rest of menu looks fantastic. The eggplant parm was delicious and filling.
Highly recommend. You'll wait a bit, but they make up for it being the nicest people. The food is fantastic.
Went without a reservation. They made sure I had a good table letting me know when the reserved table time was. Took very good care of me. Food was excellent. Definitely a go to place in the future
We order pizza and pasta and both were solid good. The wine list is also comprehensive and with variety. We truly enjoyed our meal.
We stopped in for dinner on the bar side during the off season with live Saturday night music. The music was awesome, 5-stars to him (@reedsingssongs). My burger had a delicious taste to it but the bun was toasted with a little too much smoke for my liking. I wished the duck fat fries were a little more crispy. My girlfriend’s chicken parm was phenomenal. Our waiter was serving double duty at the bar, and we were looking for a long casual night anyway, but I wish he was a bit more attentive. He waited about 30 minutes after our meals came out before he asked if everything was okay, and I could finally ask him for some salt, pepper, and sauce. Overall a great atmosphere and a wonderful Saturday night.
Comfortable and flavorful and open on a Thursday night after labor day. Even the crust of the pizza was deliciously seasoned. Attention to detail but not at all stuffy.
