It's a cute restaurant, it had great sushi and the prices are standard for this area. I had the sashimi platter, and it was pretty good.
I love this sushi place! It has a no-frills exterior but they have some of the best fancy sashimi (toro and hamachi belly) I've ever had. They are my go-to place for sushi feasts. Their saba is a must-try!
First time at Daimonji and it was a wonderful experience all around. The restaurant is spacious but cozy in atmosphere and everyone was warm and welcoming. The poke salad, sashimi, and nigiri were all very fresh and expertly prepared; the house marinated black cod was to die for; assorted tempura was perfectly fried and not too greasy. We would try more dishes if we had ANY room left in our bellies. Perfect spot to hang out with friends & family and we’ll definitely be back for more 🥰 Thank you!
Celebrated my MILs 89th yesterday with lunch here and everything was super awesome! She has celiacs and even though sushi is usually safe, our server went out of her way to make sure MIL didn’t come near anything with gluten - aka soy sauce. Fish was super fresh and excellently prepared. Will definitely be back! Thank you for an awesome experience😊
stopped by for lunch, we really enjoyed the premium cuts offered here. Cute little spot located right in the middle of georgetown. It was perfect because it was quick for us since we are limited on our lunch break! I really enjoyed their poke bowl, good amount and flavorful. I really loved the four seasons handroll, good variety in a handroll! fresh and flavorful. miso soup is nice also between orders to give your palate a break from the cold dishes. Service was prompt and efficient! Loved the plating, such pretty colors throughout. They have daily specials an lots of fresh fish coming in often. I highly recommend this place for a great local sushi spot in the area!
Fast friendly service and excellent food. I have not had anything that wasn't good. But quite simply some of the best nigiri and sashimi I have ever had. Fish is perfect. Rice texture is excellent.
Update 11/23: They no longer serve ramen. Which sucks, because that's the entire reason I came today.

So friendly, warm, and welcoming! The sushi was all delicious and fresh, with high proportions of fish to rice. Especially loved the vibrant ume shiso roll and the generous tobiko Nigiri.
