Went with my mom and husband for lunch and everything we ordered was incredible. It’s so hard to get a reservation here, but I was able to secure a lunch reservation. We got the beets and arugula salad, the classic pink door lasagna (must have, their staple item which is consistently delicious over the years), the mushroom pasta, house lemonade, and my husband got a salmon entree that came with broccoli and potato. Note- my mom and I are vegetarian and there were plenty of delicious options. We all loved everything we ordered so much! Highly recommend. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and patient. Lastly, the ambience of the restaurant and view of the water from our table was incredible! Such a cute place to dine.
Tasty birthday lunch for my business partner today! Cold and rainy outside but warm and friendly inside. Sat next to the big windows looking out on Sound and mountains. Had the holiday spritz, was so good with a white vermouth and aperol! Rice ball appetizer was delicious. We shared a couple pasta dishes and they did not disappoint. First time dining at Pink Door and would love to go again, if I can ever snag a reservation! Service was friendly and prompt, very chill waiter with all the hustle and bustle of a busy restaurant.
Fun, trendy atmosphere with live shows that vary nightly. The music was unfortunately very loud (bordering on too loud) in the front room and not audible in the back room. The mushroom pasta was a bit too salty for me but I highly recommend the lasagna which was light and airy with a thin layer of tomato sauce on top. The bread pudding and budino were also excellent.
The pink door is only marked by its pink door in post ally. You open the door to a bustling warm restaurant that smells of delicious food and sounds of people sharing words and bites and music and entertainment. Me and my partner sat in the dining room away from the live entertainment on a Tuesday night. We had a beautiful view of Eliot bay and the Christmas lit ferris wheel.
Interesting decor. Had the tuna crudo and oysters as appetizers. Good but not amazing. For dinner, we had the linguine vongole and ribeye. The linguini was also very good but not really special. The ribeye and the broccolini was excellent. The disappointment was that the food was lukewarm, the mashed potatoes cold. Also disappointing that our table was a bit cramped and by a closed booth area. We mentioned it was our 20th anniversary in our reservations but didn’t get any of the nice window tables by the water despite there being many since we were there for a 530 reservation. Nice, but I see what some reviewers say about it being an overpriced and possibly underwhelming experience. Glad we tried it, but not sure we need to go back.
Great scenery and environment. We sat outside on the patio. Lasagna is the best I’ve ever had. Large selection of food items. Great drink menu and desserts. Highly recommend.
Tomatoes!! What fresh tomatoes they have. Loved the lasagna and the cocktails. Fusili tasted great and did I say fresh!
Fries were okay, house bread was good with balsamic that tasted amazing.
House special sangria and Is this pink enough for you cocktails were great as well.
I totally recommend this place.
The Pink Door is a great space, with excellent service, and creative food and drink offerings that lean traditional Italian but still offer fresh ideas.
Definitely worth noting that, per the bartenders, the place books out a full month in advance, so if you’re looking for a dinner reservation, plan accordingly. That being said, if you’re looking for a drink only it’s altogether possible to stumble in and get lucky— ask me how I know!
We had our anniversary dinner here, since it was a Saturday we had to schedule a month (!) ahead.
This shows how popular this place is. The location is great, right in the Pike Place Market and I have to say the prices are very fair for this area. So we were glad to see a very broad range of guests, from high schoolers up to older folks.
The restaurant has this first impression of a hidden place with its unassuming entrance (hence the "pink door"), and you have to walk down a flight of stairs to get to the restaurant. It's actually much larger than it looks like, because the main seating area is in the back.
We were seated at the window with a view to the Waterfront. Our server was very attentive and had a set of recommendations for us.
We went with the porcini mushrooms since they were in season and 2 of the pasta dishes, namely the famous lasagna and the bucatini all'Amatriciana and a bread pudding as dessert and cocktails to go with the meal.
The porcini mushrooms were absolutely delicious, meaty and prepared to make sure to make the mushroom stand out.
The lasagne was very light, very thin and tender. The bucatini were cooked in a way I've never experienced before, chewy and soft, which I couldn't quite figure out how they achieved the texture. I wished the all'Amatriciana sauce would have been a bit spicier, but not bad at all.
The bread pudding was delicious, too, but at that point we were pretty much stuffed.
All in all a great experience and I can wholeheartedly recommend this place for dining, just make sure you have placed your reservation if you come in the evening.
Arguably one of the best dinner spots in Seattle. I can confidently say the lasagna is by far the best lasagna I’ve ever eaten in my life. I now plan to get that every single time I come back to Seattle. Everything else was great too. Loved the arancini, the sauce that came with it paired perfectly. Never have I seen Dungeness crab be a protein option for a caesar salad, but it absolutely works and it’s delicious. The pumpkin bread pudding is probably seasonal, but that was a fantastic dessert.
I cannot recommend this place enough. Good services, good drinks, phenomenal food
