Daimonji Japanese Restaurant - Seattle - Photo album

It's a cute restaurant, it had great sushi and the prices are standard for this area. I had the sashimi platter, and it was pretty good.
I love this sushi place! It has a no-frills exterior but they have some of the best fancy sashimi (toro and hamachi belly) I've ever had. They are my go-to place for sushi feasts. Their saba is a must-try!
First time at Daimonji and it was a wonderful experience all around. The restaurant is spacious but cozy in atmosphere and everyone was warm and welcoming. The poke salad, sashimi, and nigiri were all very fresh and expertly prepared; the house marinated black cod was to die for; assorted tempura wa
Celebrated my MILs 89th yesterday with lunch here and everything was super awesome! She has celiacs and even though sushi is usually safe, our server went out of her way to make sure MIL didn’t come near anything with gluten - aka soy sauce. Fish was super fresh and excellently prepared. Will defini
stopped by for lunch, we really enjoyed the premium cuts offered here. Cute little spot located right in the middle of georgetown. It was perfect because it was quick for us since we are limited on our lunch break! I really enjoyed their poke bowl, good amount and flavorful. I really loved the four
Fast friendly service and excellent food. I have not had anything that wasn't good. But quite simply some of the best nigiri and sashimi I have ever had. Fish is perfect. Rice texture is excellent.
Update 11/23: They no longer serve ramen. Which sucks, because that's the entire reason I came today. Great sushi, and service but nothing that really sets it apart. I've been coming here every few months for years.
Fantastic sushi in this unexpected place. This family-run restaurant has been in the same hands for 15 years. Always a warm welcome and delicious specials. The
So friendly, warm, and welcoming! The sushi was all delicious and fresh, with high proportions of fish to rice. Especially loved the vibrant ume shiso roll and the generous tobiko Nigiri.
Very good, very fresh. I had the sushi combo and everything was great!
Daimonji was an amazing hidden gem in Georgetown. Recommended by our hotel staff (Georgetown Inn,b access the street), it was empty when we entered, but a warm greetings from the owner, and some recommendations made this a worthwhile experience. The sashimi was fresh and very good quality ( the ambe
(Oct 2020) have returned many times since and can’t recommend highly enough! Just finished a fantastic sashimi filled dinner, love this place! (Summer 2020) Absolutely delicious sushi and apps with great service. Ordering by phone for takeout was super easy and the staff/owners were amazing. Defini
Favorite beacon Hill area sushi spot. The staff are always super friendly and personable. Fish is high quality and generous portions. Will be back and recommend to my friends!
The sushi here is phenomenal! We had Toro, himachi belly, salmon, a dragon roll, and a Diamonji roll. All of them were fantastic! We have been looking for a sushi place close to West Seattle and we finally found one. It is like what Village Sushi used to be years ago. Highly recommend.
Ended up overeating, so that's good right? Hidden gem in the Georgetown area. Got the usual nigiri I order everywhere else and the daimonji rolls. Well made and fresh sushi. The rolls turned out be heavier than I expected with spicy tuna and crunchies on top. Support local businesses!
I love this place! The fish is so fresh and delicious. The owners are wonderful too!
Great place for amazing sushi. Lovely family business. I've met friends for lunch and taken my family here for dinner and had a good time every time. I prefer nigiri and sashimi to rolls. Had some amazing Toro on special one night. Can't go wrong here.
