I wanted to like this place so much. The hostess was friendly, and the place had a feeling like you were walking into their house. As per usual, ordered almond fried chicken, also a fried rice and hand made beef noodles. Disappointed with the chicken, and that tainted the enjoyment of the other dishes. By the way, those dishes were great, but if you can't do almond fried chicken right, then I may not return. I also heard a sound I don't hear often in a Chinese restaurant...a microwave. Couldn't tell what they microwaved in my meal, so not a big concern. I may come back, for other options on the menu.
Very tasty food!. I have driven by this restaurant for YEARS and never gave it a second look but now, I am so sorry I did! I totally LOVE the food! My neighbor hooked me on to the food! She's been eating there for al ong time and always tells me to give the place a try. I am so happy I took her up on the recommendation!
The house special fried is soooo good and so is the honey walnut shrimp! I am sure all on the menu is great as well and can't wait to go down the list. You get aot of food for your money for sure! It took me two days to finish off the fried rice with my husband!
A true gem in the heart of Aurora Avenue! The prices are very reasonable. I did not eat inside but the place looked really clean and could accomodate large parties and families. The owner was soo friendly too, like she's known you for years! That's true customer service!
A great meal tonight. This is one reliable, always good restaurant. The owners are very welcoming. There are some specialties that are must haves such as the homemade noodles. We ordered several entrees: a sizzling lamb dish, orange beef, mixed vegetables to name a few. They were all quite good.
A little dumpy looking on the outside, but a pleasantly solid surprise. Their house noodles are delicious and the service is very friendly.
Solid surprise. I have driven past this place dozens of times. i only went recently because some friends bought lunch from this place and it looked really good. maybe its the cheezy outside decor and its location in the sleeziest park of aurora but I this place scared me off from the outside. Dont do what I did and miss this joint. I had egg roll, wonton soup and the house special chow mein with homemade noodles. The service was a bit slow but the food was good. Maybe not stupendous but still good solid chinese food. The interior is much better inside and the hospitality is warm.
This place and Twins Garden has to be some of my favorite Chinese food in Seattle! Kind of dumpy looking on the outside but the interior is quite charming and the food was great.
Awesome. I've lived in Seattle for ten years, and this is the best Chinese joint I've found by far, a whole step-beyond the rest. ( I admit I've somehow never been to Vancouver, but I have been to Chinatown in SF and NYC, so I know at least a little of what I speak.) The hostess/owner is sincerely warm and friendly, and the food is transcendent. Be sure to ask for the house-made noodles (they cost an extra buck or something), those are what really rocked our socks off.
My favorite chinese restaurant. Fushen is my favorite chinese restaurant. I've been eating here since their original location across from Deja Vu in Lake City. Food is bomb and the staff are the nicest people.
Me gusta. I live nearby, and I love to pig out on the combination dinner while I watch football. Nice people, good food.
Friend discovered.
Take out only. Closed Wednesday for family day❤️.
My friend got the Szechuan chicken, was super happy with it. The Moo Shu pork I ordered was some of the best I have had in Seattle. The only reason I didn't rate it five stars was because generally, it is served with hoisin sauce. I didn't think to double check. It wasn't included and I didn't have any at home so I was bummed out.
We placed the order, it was brought out to our car and we paid the nicest lady.
The prices were good. The portions were great.
What can be said about Fu Shen that hasn't already been said? The food quality is excellent, the portions can sate even the heartiest of appetites, and the warmth of the proprietor cannot be beat. I'm serious, she puts a smile on my face and a glow in my heart with every order I pick up. I'm currently basking in the afterglow of another home cooked meal from Fu Shen: General Tso's Chicken, white rice, and hot & sour soup. A perfect cap to a Sunday, or any day at all!
Fu Shen is a local Chinese food restaurant that has a decently large menu with good sized portions at a great price. The staff here is incredibly nice and can recommend things based off your likes. The parking situation is a bit rough outside as there isn't much spots, so be patient when finding a parking spot. Call to order ahead if possible as it will make things much easier.
My favorite Chinese takeout in Seattle. This is the classic American Chinese style comfort food I grew up enjoying. What’s even more heartwarming is the woman running the place, who is hands-down the nicest person in Seattle. If I could give FuShen an extra star, just for her, I would.
Consistently good food, clean ingredients, authentic Chinese cuisine, very nice service always.
This is not Panda Express, you will NOT feel sick after eating. Mom and Pop family restaurant. This place is a regular go-to for my wife and I.
Without a doubt the best Chinese food we've had in the area. We moved a half hour away but still occasionally make the trek back because it's so good. And the staff is some of the friendliest people we've ever met.

Absolutely delicious. Not your average American style Chinese place, these guys are super authentic and the effort shows. Everything tastes lovely, the veggies are crisp and fresh, the fried items aren't greasy and nothing is heavy or over breaded. My favorite dish from this visit is the Beef and Snow Pea, where the peas were beautifully crisp and crunchy, the beef nicely cut and tender, and the sauce was a rich garlic-savory delight. Definitely a spot I plan on coming back to in the future.
Very very friendly lady that mans this neat huge portion Chinese restaurant, really great food and fast service, recommend for anyone looking to get stuffed with Chinese food
Simply amazing homemade chow mein noodles! Authentic and delicious...you can't go wrong with Fu Shen! Customer service 10/10. Props to the chefs! And the asian woman running the orders is a hero during these rough times. Tip her well!! Love this place!
One of my favorite Chinese spots ever. Good value lunches, delicious specials… and the kindest, most welcoming family-owner-operators. ❤️
