My inaugural visit to Simply Thai Kitchen was a delightful experience. Commencing with the chicken satay drenched in peanut sauce, I relished its rich and sweet flavors. Progressing to the chicken wings, I was enthralled by the harmonious blend of sweetness and spiciness. For my main course, I opted for the level 3 spiciness in the drunken noodles, which proved to be a fiery challenge I couldn't conquer entirely. I wished for smaller shrimp, as the larger ones left me wanting. Throughout the meal, the server displayed impeccable politeness and attentiveness.
Really good food. Best thai food experience. I like the spice and flavor of the red curry.yummy food 😋
Quiet, empty, somewhat clean. The rest of my party really liked the food, but I wasn't impressed. Nothing stood out. The customer service was bad. I had to wave the server over, too much wait time between drink refills. I asked about an item on the menu, and the response was that they weren't sure. Your job is to know what you're selling.
Spring roll - crispy with a soft inside and not mushy.
Crab wontons - crispy thick wrap, lots of cream cheese, and it actually had crab.
Goyza - crispy, great seasoning.
Panang - Spice level 4/5 prefect for me, just under Thai hot.
Chicken noodle - basic and still flavourful. Great for the young ones.
Pad Thai - a great dish, but too sweet for me.
Drunken noodles - tofu was a prefect match. Not enough vegetables, but good.
We wanted Thai for lunch and this was nearby. We were greeted immediately and seated, by a courteous server who I can’t remember her name unfortunately lol. For an appetizer we ordered the taste of Thai sampler and it was great. The crab rangoons were our favorite thing on the plate and would definitely order again. Ordered two of the lunch specials, one drunken noodles and one pad Thai. The flavor was great and had a nice subtle kick to it without being overwhelming. The portions were fantastic for lunch and left us feeling stuffed. For the price we are very impressed and will definitely be back when we are in the area. :)
I really love their food. Excellent selection to choose from. You can also choose how spicy you want the dish.
My favorite Thai restaurant in Scottsdale. I love that they have a vegan menu (it’s online). I do wish they would print it out and offer it with their regular menu. There’s a lot to choose from. The Tempura is excellent especially the broccoli and squash. Anything with fried Tofu is great and the Yellow curry is very good. They are so nice, especially the vegan guy who is 1 of the owners and has also served us.
Update : went here today with a huge group and the restaurant was just THE BEST about it! The chef and Athena are such treasures!! 🥹🥹🥹🧡🧡🙏🏽🙏🏽
Such a great service! Nina, who took care of us today was so kind and sweet❤️❤️Absolutely delicious, to die for food😍😍
We loved it. Crystal was a wonderful server, the food was delicious. The red curry and papaya salad were a couple of our faves. Outstanding experience.
Absolutely amazing food! Our group of 3 had tom yum and tom ka, as well as two plates of the lettuce wraps and fried tofu- was a great amount of food and we left full! Hesitated for a moment over the prices but we are so, so glad we came- the presentation, taste, and size of dishes made the price well worth it. Seriously- the plating of every plate was so beautiful and made all of smile! Extremely enjoyable eating experience, will be back!
Service was good. Not the fastest but I wasn't in a hurry anyway. The green curry and Thai tea were both delicious. The eggplant was cooked well. I couldn't finish the lunch portion in one sitting.
