Corner Cafe

Well Damn! A nice surprise. We arrived before a store opened that claimed they were going to be open. Grrrr! Not in a good mood, but my attitude quickly changed with the very friendly team and extremely tasty brunch offering. We will return! Oh, if you like heat with your burritos, their warm verde salsa is the hottest verde that I've tasted anywhere and I am a guy who likes it so hot your eyes blow out. Almost habenaro level. Very tasty!

I ordered the bagel sandwich, and it was nice enough for the money. It took a very long time to make (around 15 minutes) which seemed very long for what it was. I suppose if the egg and sausage were being cooked fresh it makes sense, but it tasted like the components were prepped ahead of time and reheated. (Not in a bad way) The young lady behind the counter was friendly, but the manager looking fella in the polo seemed only concerned with his own breakfast, and not any of the customers. (I had 15 minutes to watch all this) A decent experience, I would go back to try the latte if I was in the area, but no real wow factor.

I had tacos here on Tuesday that were delicious and took me back to Mexican street tacos…. Had. a BLT for breakfast, it was one of the best I’ve ever had, thick bacon and the BLT had 2 layers between sour dough bread, so good!!! So big I had to take half home, great value, great food, friendly service!
