Nancy’s is a family-run BBQ joint that truly makes me feel like I am in the south. Their service was very polite and embellishes southern-like hospitality. Their décor reminds me of a cookout. They had to die for ribs and brisket. Their sides were great too.

Stopped here on a whim yesterday with our 10 year old grandson. The smell of BBQ was amazing as you walked in the front door. We were greeted immediately by staff and found a table easily. Our server was friendly and attentive. The menu is large, and while it is often difficult for me to find things to eat, because I am vegan and gluten free...there was a beautiful salad available. My husband and grandson had the ribs, baked beans, Cole slaw and fries. They were very happy. The food, service and atmosphere were great. We will definitely be back again.
Surprisingly good BBQ. Enjoyed the pulled pork plate with baked beans and slaw. Generous helping of pork. Well smoked and seasoned. We also tried the brisket sandwich and brisket tacos. Happy customers all round. Fried pickles made a tasty and novel appetizer. Two in-house sauces. We liked the Chipotle best. Also liked the quotes on the ceiling.
Hands down best BBQ in the Sarasota county area. Recommend to me by the owner best BBQ I've ever had. Mac and cheese was cheesy and seasoned perfectly. Beans were not just delicious but full of perfectly crunchy brisket bits. The brisket was deliciously seasoned and juicy. Perfect lunch.
I have been lapse in reviewing Nancy’s BBQ since our experience was in April. Nancy catered our daughters wedding and the food was exactly perfect, plentiful and very well received by everyone. The one on one ordering and planning experience directly with Nancy was awesome and personal. I highly recommend Nancy’s BBQ catering!
Very friendly and knowledgeable group of carnivores serving up tasty bits of charred meat. Everyone at the restaurant was more than willing to help guide us through their expansive menu. The food was prepared properly and my sweet tea was fresh!!!
The pulled pork is exceptional as was everything we tried. I will go back soon.

P.S. My only complaint was that I tried to buy a shirt for a friend that was eating dinner with us tonight and they were too busy to get one for me. I understand that feeding hungry people is more important than selling a shirt to someone who had already finished their meal.

Great experience! Yummy bbq , Very nice, clean, place. We went there first time last Sunday 10/13/19. And it was such a great, experience . Our table helper is Melody and she’s nice and great server.
You order in the counter, they’ll give you number and you pick a table, and they’ll serve it to you and you eat and you pay after.
The cashier Is very helpful she gave us best options that fits our family.
We got kids meal and has a fountain drink of her choice, pulled out chicken slider and Mc and cheese. My 8yrs old is full belly.
And the ribs that i shared with my son plus my take home for dinner. That whole ribs, $25 is so worth! The sauce is delicious, one sweet and spicy and there’s sauces on the table you pick if you want more spicy.
My other son has quesadilla and he full. Great size for 13yrs old. And he loves it. He’ll come back to eat there again.
My hubby is happy and enjoyed his food. I love the coleslaw too and my potatoes.,
Overall experience is super great! As a matter of fact I passed there the next day to pick up to go” for my daughter after school and it’s $8.50 including %20 tip.
It’s always I’m looking for anyways a quick eat before I pick up the kids or to go. So this is perfect.
I don’t need a cheap drivetru this is way way better.
But the way, they have a bar

Best tasting turnip greens I've had in a long time. The BBQ, pulled chicken and Mac and Cheese were just okay. I did clean my plate. Perhaps this style of BBQ isn't my favorite. Service and atmosphere was great. Wife felt the same about her meal.
This is one of the best BBQ we had during our trip to south- Virginia, Carolina, Tennessee and Florida. We tried BBQ every time we passed during meal time, this is one of the top on our list.
Juice tender brisket and chicken is our favorite. Sides are very good too. It is not table service, which make quick and efficient. But has nice indoor and out door seating.
Awesome lunch. Wife got a pulled pork sandwich, solid staple. Very good. I got the Tuesday special. Brisket tacos. Wished there were more. The went down far to quickly.
