The Orange Octopus

Great little ice cream stop... The wife and I stopped here after our dinner as it was just a short walk away from the restaurant. Small and unassuming, they had a wide range of ice cream flavors and the servings were way bigger than I thought they would be. Service was fast and efficient, both gals working behind the counter kept the line moving at a nice clip. I had their Kentucky Honey Bourbon ice cream with the Cherry Chocolate Chunk - My wife had the same Cherry Chocolate Chunk alone. Very creamy and delicious. It was a nice, quick stop to top off a dinner out.

Chocolate peanut butter, made with dark chocolate and swirls of peanut butter is the best I've had in the state of Florida. I really hate when companies put in those hard tasteless peanut butter cups. It ruins the ice cream! Also had the Dutch chocolate, and coffee crunch. Both flavors were delicious. This ice cream is homemade and delicious.

Our fav ice cream spot on the planet. We’ve been visiting the Siesta Key location since it opened, and continue to look forward to it each year we travel to Florida. My kids have grown up telling everyone Orange Octopus is the best!! Great flavors, kind and patient employees, cute beachy shop, fun walkable location…Wish we could open our own OO back home!
