Toasted Mango

On vacation, looked up highest rated breakfast places in the area and this restaurant popped up. So glad we came here! My kids loved the children's meals, very large portions for kids! I thoroughly enjoyed the Steak, Sweet Potato and Brie omelette (a daily special, so not on the regular menu). They did not skimp on the Brie! And my husband loved the smoked salmon Benedict. The coffee was so good too! We will be coming back next time we are in town.

I love this place! It's my "go to" favorite spot for yummy breakfast treats...and their addition of mango flavoring options for the butter, iced tea, and on top of the decadent Belgian waffles is especially appreciated by this mango lover. For a casual cottage atmosphere with attractive outdoor dining, too, this place can't be beat for affordable prices, delicious fresh food, and friendly attentive service!

**Parking Alert in Sarasota - Heads Up!** So, I was all set for a fantastic breakfast at the Toasted Mango Cafe in Sarasota. Rolled up to the second parking spot facing the building. Parking like I would in any parking lot over the past five years with my trusty Lexus. But here's the kicker: as I pulled in, I heard this cringe-worthy scratching noise from the front of my car. Ouch! I quickly eased back a few inches to see what happened. Turns out, my bumper had an unexpected run-in with the concrete wheel stop. Not cool. And it's not just me - there were scratches on the left side of that concrete stop, suggesting I'm not the first victim. The cause of this was clear since there was a sneaky little dip in the asphalt on the left side of that parking spot causing the bumper clearance to lower when entering the spot. So, I went inside to find the manager. He dropped the bombshell: He told me I was supposed to stop my car before my bumper went over that wheel stopper. Every parking lot I look at has the bumper well over the concrete wheel stopper. He did take my name and number for the owner to reach out. Now, I'm kinda in the dark about who's on the hook for the car damage – me or the restaurant. (Anyone with feedback here please let me know) But here's some friendly advice: if you're rolling up to this joint with your regular car, steer clear of this parking spot to save your bumper. I'll keep you posted on what the owner says. And by the way, their food is still amazing – parking hiccups aside!

I have found yet another very nice cafe to dine at. The people at Toasted Mango Cafe are friendly, prompt, and professional. The prices are reasonable and the dishes we ordered were very flavorful. For a packed cafe, the atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. The Blackened Chicken Sandwich and Toasted Mango Avocado Toast were perfectly prepared and the flavor was well balanced. The mago iced tea was refreshing and this was my first time drinking that flavor of tea. I am willing to visit Toasted Mango Cafe again and again since their menu has many items that grasped my attention. Excellent work to everyone at Toasted Mango Cafe.

The food was really good and fresh. We both enjoyed our feed. We did ask our server questions and special ordered some food and he was patient and helpful with us. The food came out exactly as we ordered it. My daughter’s food is not pictured but she got the French toast and it comes with a side of mango butter and it’s freaking delicious. I highly suggest it!

This was our first time at this breakfast place it was great the hostess was ready to greet us. Lots of options to sit and the breakfast delicious from the waffles to the French toast. Their menu has a lot of varieties and the service with a smile definitely will tell my friends and family of this place.
