Just finished my Banh Mi and writting this review right away
I was craving with Do Chua (carot/daikon) because i usually buy Banh Mi at Lee’s Sandwiches Cupertino. I was going to the maket in the area and decided to stop by Lee’s Sandwiches 95111. First, I asked for a Banh Mi with Do Chua only but they don’t have that. The cashier offered me for a Pate Banh Mi so i ordered it. After the first bite, it was really what I wanted. Do chua was amazing. A warm and crunchy bread!!!! Very fresh!!! Lovely. They also have drinks that other places don’t. And the store is kinda small. Just a few tables and chairs. But huge plus for friendly staff - This lady should get a raise 😂😂😂 She is the reason I want to come back again. 🥰 She was patient and indulged in all my requests. I love her smile. Very good personality. Hey owner, if you read this comment, treat your staff nicely. She is bringing money for you🫵 Great 5 start ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Good sandwiches! Fresh crunchy crust and soft/airy inside.
Some minor updates to the store, seating available again, and new menu signs.
Still good Vietnamese sandwiches on fresh baguettes! The head cheese, liver wurst, jalapeno, and cilantro are the best. #1 or #11!
Absolutely, without any doubt, Lee's, particularly THIS LEE'S, is the best Vietnamese Sandwich Deli in California, and probably anywhere outside of Vietnam. My favorite sandwich is the combo on a baguette. Try them all, they're all great.
This location is a little older. The service and sandwiches are great!
Fast service I love the 🐼 Panda waffle and their bolillo bread is always fresh out the oven ♨️🥖 6:25pm
Has lots for sale: banh cuon, fried banana, sesame balls, banh mi, pate chaud, etc!
We really enjoy their banh mi sandwiches, baguettes and smoothies. There may be other shops around, but this is our "go to" for deliciousness. We typically order 2 sandwiches each so we can enjoy one immediately and save the other to enjoy the following day. Even with ordering 2, it is still a better deal than buying 1 at most of the sandwich chains. Yum!
Very good customer service. Food is fantastic at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended
Quintessential is a cliche adjective when it comes to food, except as it applies to Lee's.
San Jose's role in the Vietnamese diaspora is significant, and if I force any more fifty cent words into this review there won't be space to say "wow, that was delicious".
Order a sandwich, hell order two and eat half of each, try something new every day for a month.
The bread is everything, and if you're spice tolerant and don't purge the jalapenos you meant to nix when your ordered after your first bite it pairs incredibly well with their heat. The sweetness and crunch of the veggies is tactile and refreshing against the saltiness of the various meats that are more condiment than focal point. I wish I had one closer to me, but this one is perfectly located for southern bound road trips, just as you escape the urban for the suburban.
Drinks are amazing too, I was shocked to find they don't over sweeten their teas. Best Thai Tea I have had in a long time.
Here is a small slice of heaven. The smell of freshly-baked bread 🍞 awaits you in this store, which produces an endorphin-high. Lee's sandwiches and bakery products, as well as their packaged snacks and drinks, will definitely brighten my day each visit. Thanks to Lee's Sandwiches!
