This place is a hidden gem! Super cool vibes and very good Mexican food. Great veg options - particularly enjoyed the enchiladas suizas and the enfrijoladas. Vibes are super cool!

Really good food. Different from the normal Mexican food but in the best way possible. Deep flavors that taste very authentic. Great options for non spicy lovers too. Margaritas are great as well. Atmosphere is simply the best. Only detractor is their tables are not the best for taller folks.

Great place, but we might have been a bit unlucky with the service. The bar was however awesome.

I went here today on a friday at 5:30pm. Excellent & friendly service. AMAZING food! We got the tamale to share as an app, with 2 alcoholic drinks, both got the mole dishes, and the chocolate lava cake! Spent $95 total + 20% tip! Great atmosphere & beautiful artwork. Highly recommend 😊

Stopped by for a cocktail and the bartender was very friendly. The drinks were great and feeling adventurous I tried the fried grasshoppers. They weren't bad at all. Would like to return and try more of the menu

Quality Mexican food. I tried the vegan enchiladas and was kind of disappointed, they were really sweet, no spice added. However, I asked for a more spiced sauce and that was pretty good. The rest of my party really enjoyed their food. The inside of the restaurant was really nicely decorated and it was loud and bustling! Churros were really good! They could have saltier chips but maybe that’s just me

Not bad. Interesting atmosphere. I guess I don't quite sure how to appreciate the food to it's full extend. But not bad. Love the tamarind drink I ordered!

The restaurant is good with an excellent vibe. The relationship quality price is excellent. The mole negro is ok. The rojo is only Chile guajillo so don’t expect more. The mocktail is a very interesting combination between the sweet and the sour. Personally I believe that the chapulines had a lot of salt. But that is personal. You should give a try to this Oaxaca restaurant.

Excellent Oaxacan style Mexican sit down restaurant with amazing food, drinks, and a casual sit down ambiance. I highly recommend visiting this location if you enjoy Mexican food and enjoy a sit down higher quality food experience, and I’ve added it to my Google list of best Mexican restaurants in the Bay Area. Details follow: The highlight dishes here are mole based, which is a type of sauce that you can describe as chilis and dark chocolate - but you really have to try it to appreciate it. I suggest you ask to try the two types of moles and they will bring you a free sampler. There is free chips and salsa, but the guac is hand made and recommended! I suggest you either get the Enchiladas with Mole or the Mole and Chicken plate. Caution: the enchiladas are more traditional where you assemble them on your plate (pretty cool experience though) and don’t come pre assembled. Either way, it was still a fantastic mix of flavor and a unique experience that made me feel closer to traditional Mexico and less Americanized food. The cocktails here are fantastic. This restaurant has a dedicated bar. The drinks taste authentic, not watered down, and not full of artificial ingredients. Try the Mezcal here for a more authentic experience. Mezcal is described as a more Smokey tequila. If you want a margarita, they make a mezcal margarita. I tried it and it was amazing. There is amble indoor seating that is safely spread out as well as outdoor seating. There is an event area you can book as well. The bathrooms are extremely clean. The service is super friendly and well staffed! Parking can be tough but there is a pay to park lot nearby for 6$ an hour. Absolutely recommend visiting this place!
