Great little gem. Quality everywhere, but high prices too. Parking tough, use the lot across the street and up the alley. Better to walk or take public transit/ride share/bike - but be careful, narrow streets and fast drivers. Staff all want to help but are unobtrusive. Its nice to help the small stores and those that stay local who help the neighborhood. They are sensitive to gluten free issues and very accommodating. They have a healthy bent but there are lots of processed foods for the carb junkies. It would be nice to see more high end products with no sugar. Quality meats. Great hot soups and a small out door eating area. Perfect spot post Glen Canyon Park hike.

Ordered from the deli in the back of this market. Let's break it down. Food quality is excellent. The sandwiches were tasty, the broccolini was so flavorful. We got good quantity and quality for our buck. However, it did take a pretty long time for our sandwiches to be made. We stood around for a long time just waiting for our food. We ordered some of the dishes displayed at the counter, and asked for them to be heated up since we wanted to eat immediately. The person helping us looked confused (maybe most people bring the premade food home to heat it themselves?). They microwaved it but I could tell the bottom of the box was still cold so we asked to reheat it to which they did. Then it was nice and hot and good. All in all there were some struggles but ultimately we enjoyed our meal. I'd come back and try out more of their food and sandwiches.

Delicious made-to-order and grab-n-go sandwiches made with high quality ingredients. The steak and onion hot sandwich is my favorite with savory steak, caramelized onions and provolone toasted on a superbly crunchy and chewy french baguette. The Dijon mustard really puts the flavor profile over the edge. My partner really loves the turkey bacon hot sandwich and asks for it on a baguette. Once you place your order at the deli counter, you get a ticket to go pay at the register and then you wait for your order to be made. The wait can be around 5-10 minutes if it's around lunch time so if you need a faster option I would recommend the ready made sandwiches located above the soups just around the corner from the deli counter. The drink selection here is also really fun with interesting options I don't see elsewhere.

Canyon Market is a gem of a neighborhood market. I love the prepared foods the most. The salmon, crab cakes, quinoa squash risotto, arugula salad, all veges--all my favorites plus the black diamond spread that my friends call crack cheese because it's so addictive! The bakery items are all good too--the pies, cakes, cookies, muffins. Twice I have called to send groceries and food to my friend who lives up the street and even though they do not do hand deliveries, each time, a very kind person has offered to walk up the order. This time, Michael, has gone out of his way to help me. This is what makes this market a stellar sweet spot for me and we will be going back again and again! Thank you Michael--you saved the day!

High quality products at high prices. Let’s be honest, I’m not rich enough to do my regular-way grocery shopping here but I live in the neighborhood so I come when I need something special or if I’ve forgotten one or two ingredients for dinner Made-to-order sandwiches are surprisingly reasonably priced and very good. I frequently pick up for lunch during the week. Budget ~10mins for them to be made I’ve almost always been disappointed by their baked goods Lost a bit of its neighborhoody vibe after Gus’s took over, but still a solid spot if you’ve got some $$$ to spare

Fabulous local market, and it's still OK now that it's owned by Gus's. Great prepared food options. The soups are the best! Produce is expensive but good quality. And their seafood and meat counter is exceptional!

Very cute shop with a lot of great products. The deli was really cute and I was told to get a sandwich there. While the toppings on the sandwich were great, the bread seemed overcooked and was extremely hard and hard to bite into. Other than that I have no complaints for this location. There’s some street parking since it’s on the corner, and the staff was super helpful and nice.

I loved this little shop. Small, packed with so much stuff. It smells like an old-school hippy natural grocer. My turkey sandwich was delicious. If I'm ever back in the neighborhood, I'm hitting Canyon Market.

Delicious. Fresh food. I love the smoked salmon and smoked Turkey spread. They have a nice selection of food you don't find elsewhere.

It's going to turn into a Gus's soon but that shouldn't change much about it. Cute neighborhood grocery store, typically overpriced like all others, but their sandwiches are amazing (3 out of the 4 stars are just for that). Go there to prep for a picnic, but I'd avoid it for any actual grocery sho
