I really enjoyed visiting this cafe. Food was good, staff was kind, but I would recommend checking ahead of time to see if there’s live music when you visit. It’s nice for the vibes but not the best when you’re trying to study.

Simple Pleasures is a mainstay in the Outer Richmond. The roast their own coffee, their vanilla iced lattes are my personal favorite, baked goods are so good, the space is great so you can chill or work, they have an outdoor parklette, and they serve beer later in the day. I love this place.

Cosy, good looking place to stay in the middle of the day & drink Chagachino (Large, iced, with oat milk).
For me it taste like good rich coffee with regular milk.
Verrry good!

Great coffee and super laid back vibe. I wish I lived in the neighborhood so this could be the regular spot…I’ll just have to settle for when I’m in the area.
Highly recommend the Death Wish if you like espresso and cream. So good. Bagels are tasty, we got the breakfast sandwich (pro tip…add cream cheese to it).

Truly Simple Pleasures. Great coffee. Relaxed neighborhood atmosphere.
I also tried the bagel+egg sandwich=not the best. Eggs were a bit sulfery from being old and added ham one thin slice for $3 ??
Still 5 STARS because it was just a great place. Simple and Pleasurable.

This cozy cafe is a community favorite and is always busy. There is both indoor and outdoor seating bit I prefer to sit inside since Balboa is windy most of the time. Their hot sandwiches are really good and unique. I definitely did not expect the jalapeno in there. The dutch crunch is best enjoyed when the bread is still crunchy. Their pastries are also really good though they are kind of pricey. Wish they put the names and prices of their pastries up front.

This is an especially charming café, with boardgames, and often live music that is great for relaxing. Even on days with no performers, I appreciate the music choices of the staff, who are all very kind. The coffee isn’t amazing, but I’d come for the atmosphere.

Quintessential San Francisco locals spot in the outer Richmond. Great coffee, hot chocolate with whipped cream and they have beer and wine as well as a parklet and outdoor seating.

Quaint cozy local neighborhood coffee shop. Espresso machine. Hearty breakfast sandwiches and burritos. Wine and beer. Great outdoor seating area and indoor couches. Games to play with friends!!!

Stopped by for a coffee break after a quick hike at Lands' End nearby. Decent coffee and mocha. It's a cool place with perhaps an older crowd who look to be regulars in the neighborhood. Two thumbs up for open outdoor seating by the side walk.

As a family, we have been coming here since our daughter was around 5 years. She's now 24. We would enjoy a latte and play scrabble. Now it's just the 2 of us and this cafe is just as good, if not better. We enjoyed a tasty vegetarian quiche and salad and an excellent latte before heading off to the movies at the Balboa. Wonderful service by the young woman on duty last night. "Pleasurable experience" as always.

The best place to enjoy a cup of wonderful latte. Especially at night there's a live band playing music.

Love this place. Has one of the best parklets in SF with view of ocean.
Two complaints for which I gave it 4 stars.
1) The wifi is always broken or overloaded.
Go elsewhere if you need to work.
2) They are ALWAYS out of Everything bagels.
Drives me crazy.
Please. Please.
Please order more everything bagels!!

The Beagals are fantastic and fairly priced. The coffee is good by USA standards. Only ting is cash only.

Been a favorite for close to 15 years. Just a chill, beautiful vibe. One can just feel the fog rolling of Baker Beach from time to time...
