Stumbled (literally) upon this place looking for an after dinner night cap and was so pleasantly surprised by this small tapas bar. Only drank wine but want to come back to enjoy the full experience soon! Unfortunately was a super drunken loud party there but I’m sure this is a great date spot and look forward to bringing my partner back sometime soon. Super friendly staff as well!
Very cool experience doing the sherry flight here! I learned so much about the diversity of flavor with sherries, and the food pairings were eye opening and delicious as well. The churros also were so tasty. We ended up taking a bottle of sherry home because the experience was so excellent! Highly recommend

El Lopo should be famous! It is perfect if you want to order tapas on a high level with good quality drinks 🍹 the service is on point and super friendly
Highly recommended for a dinner with friends, on a date or just to enjoy and treat yourself! 🤫 they also have amazing looking cheese platters to snack on!

This was a pleasant surprise for us. It wasn't your flashy and fancy SF wine bar, and the people there are pretty layback. As order food and drink, each dish and drink surprise us more as they were all really delicious. We went from a little unsure as we went in, to pleasantly surprised as our orders came, and was finally thoroughly satisfied as we leave. Give it a try. I'm sure you'll be surprise too.
The service was really great and I really enjoyed the entrees and small bites. Not a huge fan of the wine cocktails, but that's more of a personal preference. Great wine bar if that is your thing.
Fantastic place with great vibes! We got basically everything on the menu except the steak and was impressed by all of it. The octopus and anchovy olives were our favs.
Staff is super friendly and the whole place just feels like somewhere I'd want to hang out for a while. Highly recommend!
Great little wine bar with excellent food and drinks. The menu is not extensive but it has a nice selection of tapas, cheese, and appetizers. The service is friendly and the ambiance is very seductive. It's a unique and fun place to have a drink and some food.
Got the octopus, meatballs, and the corn. The octopus was to die for but the portion is so small. The meatball is great.
I came here with an event planner’s eye to see if they could scale for catering. The place is really quaint and you can see all the happenings of the kitchen and the bar. As a tapas place, you already know to double whatever you order because there’s almost never enough. Therefore come willing to spend $50/person to have a good time with friends.
Food was pretty good overall, standout was the sauce on top of the potatoes. Yummy!
Definitely a place I would go to over and over again. The food is on point. The style is unique of how the plate is later out. The smells are fresh and it tasted as if straight from farm and sea. The owner and cheff know their dishes and the owner also serves the food what better service and dishes can you get. I like going to places of quality and this has been not only added to date locations list but even just a selfish meal place because you may not want to share. Not because of size but because of the taste.
