Small but excellent. The food is superb and it's not too expensive. We went for lots of little dishes to share. There is no loud music and so you can actually talk to your companion!

My wife and I went here on a date night and loved everything about it...The service was great, the food was fantastic (the sauce is so delicious I could have eaten it by itself.) We started with appetizers fried zucchini and pita bread with the Tazaini sauce and it was delicious. I had a gyro ( the beef and lamb were very tender and well seasoned) and my wife had the chicken skewers...we tried each other's meal and were both impressed. We were offered dessert but were too full. We will definitely go back again.

Really good homely Greek food! Service was great and prices reasonable. We had the chicken soup, Greek salad and the prawns, all delish. It was nice to have a healthy meal, which can be hard to find in the states!

Wow. Just wow. Come here and order the salmon. It is possibly the best I have had in the area. Nice atmosphere, great for a date night, and good selection of wines to try. Food is very reasonably priced for the quality, a true hidden gem in SF. I will be back before I leave.

Having been around for 15 years, Mezes only gets better! A local go-go place, AMAZING food, friendly and fast (in case you want it fast) service. Definitely a hidden gem in SF Marina.

Nice little Greek bistro on Chestnut Street. The menu is typically Greek, with lots of meat and very nice starter platters. The wine selection is really good. Make sure you also try the dessert! It was easy to get a table on a weekday, definitely will come back for a romantic date

A tiny, hidden gem on the edge of the Marina. Tucked away on the far, lesser-known end of Chestnut, Mezzes feels like you're at your grandmother's house in ancient Greece. The dishes are spot on, filled with garlic, and obviously cooked with love. The wine list is reasonable and the dining experience is quite enjoyable. Be sure to try their specials as they are always spectacular!

This place is great! I usually get the chicken gyro; it's not on the menu but they will make it if you ask. Really love the ambiance too! They also have a back patio that is really nice too.

This is a gem not to be missed. When I stay in the area, I usually just hit the regular places by Marina. This was a great new addition to the neighborhood.Great decor, staff was A+ and our meals were tasty, good portions and well presented. We will be back to Mezes, great food and service, love the local wine.
